In the previous year, unit sales increased from 12,157 to 13,312 tractors. An impressive 1,155 units more were sold in 2007 compared to the prior year and the positive trend of the past years continues to hold on. The 50,000th Vario tractor, which left the assembly line in Marktoberdorf in 2007, is evidence for the continued acceptance of the Vario technology.
An appealing and innovative product line of standard and specialty tractors along with harvesting equipment, secured the success of the Fendt brand in 2007.
For the current year, AGCO Fendt plans to continue this growth trend with a further increase in sales to a total of 15,000 tractors.
