FENDT CARGOPROFI

Fendt will present the CargoProfi front loader at the AGRITECHNICA 2011. The Profi loader is based on the tried and proven Cargo front loader. Sensors installed in the 5X arm allow completely new features to be realised. Innovations, such as the weighing and memo functions, make work with the front loader even easier and tremendously increase efficiency. The jury has awarded this development a Silver Medal.

LOAD RELIEF CONTROL FOR FRONT LINKAGE

A silver medal went to another innovation from Fendt. The load relief control for the front linkage promises optimum adaptation to ground contours. It transfers part of the weight of contour-hugging implements to the tractor. Relief springs are therefore no longer required during mowing operations. Active detection of uneven ground with the aid of a position sensor on the front linkage permits dynamic adjustment to changing ground contours.

GOLD MEDAL IN POLAND

The trade fair Polagra-Premierey, which is held biannually in the Polish city of Posen, was also a success for Fendt in 2012. Because Fendt once again received a gold medal. The award went to the 724 Vario.

IF PRODUCT DESIGN AWARD / REDDOT AWARD

The new 700 Vario is not only technically brilliant, but also looks fantastic. The series was honoured with two world-renowned and internationally prestigious design awards: the iF product design award 2012 in gold and the RedDot Award. “Power, dynamics, performance – those are the qualities that characterise a tractor. The Fendt 700 Vario also has an independent and striking appearance, which is exceptional for this area – the details are a bit evocative of the design of trucks in the USA,” according to the jury's statement for the iF award.

MACHINE OF THE YEAR

Fendt was pleased to receive the “Machine of the Year” award of the Deutsche Landwirtschaftsverlages (DLV) agricultural publishers at the official awards ceremony held at the Agritechnica. The publisher's technology editors chose the 700 Vario as the best tractor and named it the “Machine of the Year” in the category tractors in the upper mid-horsepower segment.
