The Fendt Cargo front loader is convincing more and more customers. Innovative technical solutions, fast mounting and removing and the advantages of a system that is adapted to the vehicle concept are just some of the strengths of the Fendt Cargo. Accordingly, AGRARTECHNIK and DLZ gave the Cargo entirely positive reviews in their test reports.

The DLZ reported about the Cargo front loader in their 1/2009 issue. A Cargo 5X/90 was tested on a Fendt 718. Excerpts from DLZ 01/2009:

• “In order to guarantee the versatility of its tractors, Fendt relies on its own range of front loaders. The front loader is an integral part of the vehicle concept and specially adapted to the vehicle.”

• “With cab suspension and front axle suspension enabled, there is certainly nothing to criticise here regarding comfort.”

• “Typical Fendt: it is possible to work with the front window open all the way, since it is certain that it can remain open over the entire lifting range.”

• “Since the loader console has been specially designed for the frame of the tractor, the steering angle and accessibility for service work on the tractor are not hindered.”

• “The support legs can be folded down easily and can be adapted to the terrain with the saw tooth ratchet.”

• “Mounting and removing is very easy … We required less than one minute, without any stress.”

AGRARTECHNIK already reported about the Fendt Cargo 5X/85 front loader in their August 2008 issue under the title “Simply much better”. Following are some advantages they found:

• On the hose layout in the arms:
“The hose laying on the Cargo is an even better solution, because we could not find a single place, where there is a risk that the hoses may become abraded.

• “Kudos to the Fendt designers for also giving the Cargo the best dumping distance by far compared with the competitors.”

• “The changeover valves and the accumulator lie well-protected in the crossbeam, which is positioned comparatively far forward, so that it does not obstruct visibility. Praise for the recessed lubrication nipples which are also accessible from outside.”

• “The optionally available hydraulic attachment lock is also a fine thing. The pointer indicates at a glance whether or not an attachment is locked.”
