The staff from Quality, Safety and Environmental Management at Fendt had a lot of work on their hands from 12-16 March. For five days, three, sometimes even four, TÜV authorised representatives inspected all the procedures and processes in all the areas in Marktoberdorf and Bäumenheim as part of the "Big Audit". The result: everything passed. So now Fendt is re-certified according to ISO 9001 for quality, OHSAS 18001 for occupational health and safety and ISO 14001 for environmental management.

This is the 15th time that the TÜV has tested and certified Fendt. “Over the years, we have succeeded in increasing employees’ awareness about the benefits of the audit, so that they not only comply with the specifications the TÜV prescribes, for example, for quality assurance, but also implement them in other areas as a matter of course,” explained Michael Nothhaas, Manager for Quality Management and IMS representative at Fendt.

The TÜV confirmed the positive development of the Fendt employees and their outstanding achievement. The TÜV representatives reserved special praise for the Integrated Management System IMS, which has been specially tailored to Fendt. The IMS offers an excellent framework for implementing and monitoring measures for improvement in all areas. For example, all training that either serves to expand the knowledge of employees – the basis for exceptional performance – or is prescribed by law is offered by Fendt. Measures for improving occupational safety are also part of the system.
