AWARD FOR ACROSS-RANGE OPERATING INTERFACE CONCEPT IN LITHUANIA

Ten medals were awarded at the international agricultural trade fair “Ką pasėsi” at the Aleksandras Stulginskis University in Kaunas, Lithuania at the beginning of April 2013 . The agricultural equipment manufacturer AGCO/Fendt received one of the coveted awards for new products and innovations in agricultural engineering for its across-range operating interface concept, Variotronic, which enables ease of operation in the tractors, the Katana 65 forage harvester and now also in the C-Series harvesting machines.

Since 1997, the technical journalists from dlv magazine have been awarding the MACHINE OF THE YEAR every two years at the AGRITECHNICA for the best agricultural equipment innovation.

The Fendt 800 Vario is the winner of the MACHINE OF THE YEAR 2010 in the top tractor class.

Every year the Slovakian Ministry for Agriculture, Environment and Regional Development offers awards for innovations that are presented at the Agrokomplex trade fair. The 828 Vario convinced the jury one hundred percent and received the “Zlaty Kosak 2010” award in the category mechanisation.

The Fendt 828 received the distinguished, internationally renowned “Tractor of the Year 2011” award at the EIMA trade exhibition in Bologna. As a completely new compact high-horsepower tractor with many innovative solutions, the Fendt 828 Vario convinced the jury of the enhanced benefits it offers to the customer. The jury comprised 20 independent technology journalists from agricultural trade magazines from 20 different European countries.
