Significance for real-life operations

SAVE MORE THAN 11 LITRES IN OPERATION WITH THE 936 VARIO

Higher fuel consumption of up to 50 g/kWh means competitors consume more than 11 litres per hour more diesel in this performance class. Assuming a diesel price of 1.20 € per litre, the extra fuel costs over the lifetime of the tractor add up to more than 140,000 €.

SAVINGS OF UP TO 14 EURO/HOUR

With a fuel price of 1.20 euros, the Fendt 936 Vario reduces operating costs by up to 14 euro/hour compared to the average of all the tractors tested in the PowerMix. And this already includes the costs for AdBlue, which amount to 0.35 euro/litre. The AdBlue consumption is about 5-9% of the tractor's fuel consumption, depending on the application.

WHERE DOES SAVING PAY OFF? THE TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP

The costs for diesel can amount to 65% of the total cost of tractor ownership. The other costs are, for example, for AdBlue, write-off, servicing and repairs, and insurance. Saving on the biggest item – fuel – therefore has the greatest effect on the total cost calculation.
