Real-life benefits
SAVE UP TO 15 €* PER HOUR WITH THE 936In the 360 hp/265 kW class, the 10 g/kWh difference in fuel consumption (according to the DLG PowerMix) means the other tractors consume 2.2 l/hr more, for 50 g/kWh, 5 times as much, i.e. 11.7 l/hr. Assuming a diesel price of 1.30 €/l, this means higher diesel costs amounting to 29,000 – 145,210 € in a tractor lifetime of 10,000 work hours. With an AdBlue consumption of 8.6% and an AdBlue price of 0.35 €/l, this results in a savings potential of 297 g/kWh (Sept. 2012) for the 936 Vario in comparison to the average of all tractors tested by DLG/Profi in the PowerMix – that is up to 15 €/hr. |
SAVINGS OF UP TO 15 EURO/HOURWith a fuel price of 1.30 euros, the Fendt 936 Vario reduces operating costs by up to 15 euro/hour compared to the average of all the tractors tested in the PowerMix. This already includes the costs for AdBlue, which amount to 0.35 euro/litre. The AdBlue consumption is about 5-9% of the tractor's fuel consumption, depending on the application. |
WHERE DOES SAVING PAY OFF? THE TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIPThe costs for diesel can amount to 65% of the total cost of tractor ownership. The other costs are, for example, for AdBlue, write-off, servicing and repairs, and insurance. Saving on the biggest item – fuel – therefore has the greatest effect on the total cost calculation. |
