New features on Fendt shaker combine harvesters

Fendt welcomes the new Fendt 5275 C SL to its C-series models. This 5-shaker combine harvester has been developed mainly for extremely hilly regions and complements the existing product range of PL and PLI models from the C-series. The Fendt Connect telemetry system is also now available for the C and L-series.

Up to 38% slope compensation with the new C-series model

The Fendt 5275 C SL (SuperLevel) is designed for extreme slopes with a 38% horizontal incline. The Fendt 5275 C SL is characterised by its unique vertical and horizontal slope compensation. The SuperLevel slope correction compensates for an additional 35% vertical tilt uphill and up to 10% downhill.

The driver adjusts the slope compensation on the terminal and hydraulic valves carry out the task. With slope compensation activated, the threshing mechanism, grain tank, separator, cleaning system, as well as the driver's cab are always horizontal. Thanks to the new chassis concept, the chassis adapts the machine to the steep conditions. The tilt in the direction of travel is adjusted by means of two hydraulic cylinders.

This releases the full power of the machine for work on extreme slopes. A special series of the cutting units FreeFlow and PowerFlow has been developed for the new shaker combine harvester, with a high-positioned PTO.

Comfortable and spacious – the Fendt Skyline cab

The new model Fendt 5275 C SL is equipped with the comfort package of the C-series. The Fendt Skyline open-space cab, integrated as standard, features a state-of-the-art comfort seat with air suspension. The machine is also fitted with automatic climate control as standard, so you can work in comfort even on the hottest days of the harvest.

Always the best signal with the right receiver

As already introduced with the Fendt IDEAL, the other C-series models will feature the new tracking system. With the Fendt Vario Guide tracking system, customers have the choice of a NovAtel SMART 6L or a Trimble AG 382* receiver.

The Fendt 5272 C SL will be available for harvest in Italy and France from the second quarter of 2021.

Fendt Connect available on the C and L-series of combine harvesters

The Fendt Connect telemetry system is available as an option on the Fendt C and L-series combine harvesters to analyse and manage machine job data. The system reads, stores and evaluates machine data and shares it via the mobile network. As well as details about the machine's position, it also collects extensive CAN bus data from the combine harvester.

On the PC or via smart device, the vehicle owner can retrieve a wide range of information, including a map view showing the position and driving route of the combine harvester. The customer also has a clear overview of any error messages and service intervals and can give the dealer access to this data.

A quick overview of upcoming service intervals and reading error codes makes predictive maintenance possible in the first place. The customer always retains ownership of their machine data. Operating statistics and agronomic data are neither stored nor transmitted. The entire process meets the strict regulations of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
