Party for 400 at the 40th Fendt Reunion

At 96 years old, Anton Dolch was the most senior there. The Industrial Clerk started his professional life at Fendt in 1948. "There were 100 employees in my department at the time. Our work included converting vehicles fuelled by wood gas back to petrol," says Dolch. Later he worked as a driver for brothers Hermann and Xaver Fendt.

Despite Fendt's rapid growth, it was noted in the discussions with the veterans that, although the technology has changed, the mindset of Fendt employees is still the same. "It was always our philosophy not to leave the customer standing in the rain," says Helmut Löfflad. The graduate businessman and farmer joined Fendt in 1977 and now looks back on the company's long history. During his time at Fendt, he helped to build up Market Research and prepared the company for growing globalisation.

Fendt is now active worldwide. In his presentation, Peter-Josef Paffen talked about breaking into the Brazilian market in Spring 2019. The presentation ended with a showing of the latest Fendt brand video. Fendt changed its slogan this year – for the first time in its history. The long-standing "Leaders drive Fendt" is now replaced by the internationally-friendly "It's Fendt."; the answer to professional results and quality in every country that has a Fendt machine.
