Fendt offers the full range of square and round balers as well as baler/wrapper combinations. With Intelligent Hay, you can now document bale-specific data on the bale quality.

Transparency over bale quality with Intelligent Hay

With Intelligent Hay, Fendt has developed a way to collect and process information about each square bale. During the baling process, the baler collects bale-specific data on the quality, GPS position, moisture content, bale flakes, as well as information about additives and the bale length and weight. With the third or fourth twine, a special weather and temperature-resistant twine fitted with an RFID chip is woven into each bale during the baling process. The chips are placed in the twine so that one chip is threaded into a bale of up to 2.40 m in length. The RFID chip allocates a metric to each bale, under which bale data is stored in a cloud memory. Based on this information, bales can be stored and sold according to their quality.

Just scan the RFID chip to access the data of the bale. The corresponding data is displayed in the BaleLink app on your smartphone or tablet. The user can also share access to this bale data with dealers or other farmers, creating transparency over the bale quality for selling purposes. The entire process including the storage of data meets the strict regulations of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Fendt Squadra – cutting with precision

The popular ProCut cutter unit is now also available for the high-performance square baler, the Fendt Squadra. It combines cutting precision with easy maintenance. The cutting rotor and the short distance between pick-up and rotor increase flow capacity at a perfect rate of crop flow.

The side-extending knife drawer makes knives easy and convenient to replace. The knives are secured by two independently acting hydraulic storage systems. The 26 knives are arranged in the drawer into two groups, each of which can be controlled separately on the knife group circuit, to double the cutting length where needed. With the maintenance-friendly Fendt Squadra, the rotor tines can be replaced individually to keep costs down. The rotor tines are made of carbon steel making them particularly durable, even under the toughest conditions.

Fendt Rotana

In 2018, the Fendt Rotana round baler product range was completely revamped, and now the Fendt Rotana V also features a new side panel to bring it in line with the latest series design.

Fendt Rollector

The solo wrapper Fendt Rollector 130 is joined by the Fendt Rollector 160, which can wrap bales up to 1.60 m in diameter.

All new features for baler products will be available from July 2019.
