"I am delighted that Fendt impressed the Spanish jury with all three technical innovations," said Christian Erkens, Director of Fendt Sales EME (Europe and Middle East). "Since we launched these new designs at our 2017 international press conference, the interest from journalists, dealers and customers has been non-stop. We've had hundreds of enquiries from district and city councils wanting to test the Fendt e100 Vario, for example. And our Fendt sales partners are looking forward to rolling out Fendt's new high-power combines to their customers in time for the next harvest".

In his keynote speech, the fair's General Manager, Rogelio Cuairán, emphasised the efforts companies need to invest in innovation and the positive impact this has on "safety, ergonomics and sustainability, ultimately for the benefit of the entire industry".
