Cologne, Marktoberdorf, 4 November 2015. AGCO, Your Agriculture Company (NYSE:AGCO), a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, and the third largest German agricultural trading cooperative RWZ Rhein-Main eG, Cologne, are taking their successful 75-year partnership to a new level with a new distribution agreement. In the future, the agricultural machinery locations of the RWZ Rhein-Main eG will offer their customers optimised engineering and technology from the entire AGCO product portfolio, including state-of-the-art services. The goal is the long-term development of cooperation in the area of agricultural machinery with AGCO as an exclusive supplier.

The RWZ Rhein-Main eG and Fendt look back on a successful 75-year partnership. In the future, the RWZ will offer the complete full-line of Fendt tractors, combines, Katana forage harvesters, balers, the new forage harvesting machines and the Challenger brand throughout its entire German territory. The RWZ Rhein-Main eG will expand, or take over, responsibility for the distribution of the AGCO brands Massey Ferguson, Valtra and Fella in broad areas of their territory, where the full-line of Massey Ferguson products will be distributed through separate RWZ locations or through private MF dealers, depending on the region

“The intensification of our outstanding partnership with the RWZ Rhein-Main eG, with AGCO as the future exclusive supplier, fits very well to AGCO’s “Route 66” growth strategy for the EAME region (Europe, Africa and Middle East). Together with the RWZ, we will be able to attract even more customers to our brands through 2 exclusive full-line distribution channels,” says Dr. Rob Smith, AGCO Senior Vice President and General Manager EAME. “Our long-term partnership creates a solid foundation for further, sustainable growth and we are looking forward to an even closer connection with the major agricultural trade cooperative, the RWZ Rhein-Main eG.”

The Chairman of the RWZ Rhein-Main eG, Hans-Josef Hilgers, is also looking forward to the intensified cooperation with AGCO. “The strategies of our companies fit together very well. We have developed very successfully together in our territory. Through our cooperation with AGCO, built upon trust and partnership, we will continue to be able to provide optimal support to our customers in the future,” says Hilgers.
