Like at the Agritechnica, the Fendt 1050 Vario was the machine that received the most attention,” says Jørgen Skjelin, Fendt Brand Business Manager Norway, describing the visitors’ interest. In addition to a “Sølvaks” (Silver Medal) for the newly developed tractor, the German Meisterwerk also won the People’s Choice award. “Visitors could vote via text message and have chosen the Fendt 1050 Vario,” says Jørgen Skjelin pleased.
Fendt received two other “Gullaks” (gold medals) from the members of the innovations committee, one for the new tyre pressure regulation system VarioGrip Pro and the other for the ballasting and traction assistant Fendt Grip Assistant, which is integrated in the Varioterminal.
The Agrotechnik set new visitor records on each of the four days. In 2013, a total of 28,000 visitors, this year there were 34,000 visitors.
The Norwegian AGCO distributor Eikmaskin AS presented its machines on 3,200 m². “We had 600 m² for the high-tech brand Fendt alone,” says Trond Kjempekjenn, General Sales.
Manager Eikmaskin AS, explaining the stand design concept. “We exhibited all the series, from the Fendt 200 Vario F to the new Fendt 1000 Vario, to a very interested audience. There was exceptional interest this year; we were already able to sell a large number of Fendt tractors at the fair.”
In addition, special attention was placed on new technology at this year's Agrotechnik. There were also more exclusive innovations competitions than in previous years. And an extra programme was organised for young farmers and agricultural machinery mechanics. There was a training and education area on more than 1000 m² to stimulate interest in the agricultural industry. On Saturday evening, the popular Norwegian band “Hellbillis” played in the Oslo City Center
