The Varioterminals 7-B and 10.4-B in smartphone look are now available for the new Fendt 500 Vario. They are marked by intuitive operation via combined touch and key control. Thanks to a new bracket with ball joint, adjustment of the Varioterminal is even more flexible. The terminals have a clear resolution with LED backlighting and the scratch-proof, full glass front surface is easy to clean. In addition to controlling the basic tractor functions, the Varioterminal 7-B can also control ISOBUS-capable implements and program the VariotronicTI headland management. The Varioterminal 10.4-B has these features plus two camera ports, the VarioGuide guidance system, VarioDoc documentation system and data transfer per Bluetooth, all in one device. The display in the Varioterminal 10.4-B can be shown in full screen mode, two images on a divided screen, or in four individual images. Its high resolution also guarantees a clear, sharp picture in night mode. The ProfiPlus version has the Varioterminal 10.4-B as standard specification.
Flexible choice with VarioGuide
In the ProfiPlus version of the new Fendt 500 Vario, Fendt now offers the new VarioGuide guidance system, which was only available in high-horsepower tractors until now. Customers have the choice of two different receivers to match their requirements and local circumstances. The entry-level variant is the NovAtel® receiver, which is available with the EGNOS/WAAS, RTK per radio or NTRIP correction services. Starting November, TerraStar-C (4 cm) and TerraStar-L (40 cm) will be available as new correction services via satellite. In addition to the well-known correction services EGNOS/WAAS, RTK via radio and NTRIP, the Trimble® receiver also supports other services, such as RangePoint RTX™ and CenterPoint RTX™. The Trimble®-xFill™ technology provides a fill-in time of up to 20 minutes. Depending on the guidance system and correction services, VarioGuide can work with an accuracy of 20 cm up to 2 cm.

Automatic field detection
The PowerPlus and ProfiPlus versions of the Fendt 500 Vario to Fendt 1000 Vario series have the option of automatic field detection. If this function is activated, the field can be detected automatically, either by driving around the field once or, in the ProfiPlus version, using a field record via the VarioDoc documentation system. Manual selection is therefore no longer necessary..
Transfer of waylines and field boundaries
With the aid of the VarioDoc documentation system, tasks, including waylines and field boundaries, can be transferred from the field database to the tractor via Bluetooth. If the tractor has the VarioDoc Pro version, the FMIS data can also be transferred per mobile network.
Fendt offers a free update for all the series with the VarioGuide guidance system, starting with the Fendt 500 Vario and upwards, and supports many well-known providers of field management software on the market. arkt.
Variotronic now even more user-friendly
To permit better recognition of the waylines, tramlines and waylines are now shown in different colours. With the Fendt Variotronic software update in November, all important functions of VarioGuide, VariotronicTI automatic and SectionControl can now be controlled directly in map view. This makes operation even easier and more convenient, especially for functions that are used frequently.
