Fendt – Making a stand at the SIMA 2019 show in Paris

The SIMA international trade show in Paris opens its doors for 5 days on Sunday, 24 February 2019. With 1,770 exhibitors from 42 countries and around 150,000 visitors, SIMA is the second-largest farming machinery show in Europe.

Fendt Full-Line on 1,700 m²

The French farming market has been Fendt's largest and most important export market for decades. As the Fendt full-line range has been significantly extended in the last few years and Fendt's market position in France successfully developed, Fendt's SIMA show stand in Hall 7 is 20% bigger than before.

Now spanning 1,700 m², Fendt will be presenting its extensive full-line program featuring Fendt tractors from 70 hp to 500 hp, Fendt tracked tractors from 380 hp to 600 hp, the Fendt IDEAL 650-hp 9-tonne heavy-duty combine, the Fendt Katana forage harvester, Fendt balers, Fendt plant-protection solutions and everything you need to know about Fendt Variotronic and Smart Farming.

For the first time at the Fendt SIMA stand, visitors can see Fendt tracked tractors, the Fendt IDEAL heavy-duty combine, the extensive range of Fendt loading wagons, Fendt round balers and Fendt Rogator sprayers. The stand will showcase key Fendt Smart Farming topics and service deals. Features include the Fendt VarioDoc Pro documentation system, various development stages of the Fendt VarioGuide guidance system, the ISOBUS interface for integrating attachments, digital topics such as Fendt Smart Connect, the Fendt Logistics App and Fendt Connect, and various Fendt Service ideas to optimise machine use.

Peter-Josef Paffen, Vice President and Chairman of the AGCO/Fendt Management Board said, "With the expansion of the Fendt full-line range and the much larger Fendt stand at SIMA, we want to pave the way for further growth for Fendt in France. Building up Fendt sales nationwide and increasing unit figures and our market share in France are a fantastic boost to the Fendt 2020 Strategy and its goal of 20,000 Fendt tractors in 2020."
