On the basis of a strong corporate culture, we offer our employees a safe and attractive workplace in all situations and phases of life. We secure our future success through consistent training and further education as well as company health management.

Our employees guarantee Fendt quality. We promote their strong identification with the company and our products and continuously build on this. We also set great emphasis on providing our own training. Every year, about 70 people begin vocational training at our German locations. In 2021, we were able to further modernise our training infrastructure through the construction of the training workshop TalentWERK at the Marktoberdorf location.

We also want to provide the best possible working conditions for our employees. With the initiative Focus 2.0 we are continuously organising work at Fendt to be safer and in the long term, we want to achieve the lowest overall accident rate in the agricultural sector.

With our comprehensive and forward-looking health management we ensure our employees stay healthy and efficient long-term. Our health mission statement is at the heart of this. It defines the main contents, including offers for prevention and promoting health, creating a modern work environment and maintaining an appreciative and respectful corporate culture. We define this corporate culture using the values Team, Respect, Accountability, Integrity and Transparency – abbreviated as TRAIT. Diversity is a central concern for us here. In Germany alone, people from 48 countries work for Fendt. For this reason, both when training our 400+ managers in Germany and within the scope of our TRAIT mentoring programme, we focus especially on the issues of diversity and inclusion. We are also committed to equalityby taking part in Girls’ Days at schools and holding careers days for female students in STEM subjects.

And, we live a proactive error culture. As part of the internal campaign “We’re better together”, with the "I messed up" action we call on production employees to make mistakes and their solutions public – and symbolically reward them for this. In addition, the accompanying communication promotes understanding individual mistakes as a valuable part of learning together at Fendt.

Top employer in the agricultural business

We regularly win awards for our corporate culture and our commitment as employers. In 2021, the DLG honoured us as the top employer in the agricultural business. This was based on telephone and online surveys. We have also won awards as a Fair Company and MINTminded Company.

TalentWERK for apprentices

On 16 May 2022, the new training workshop for Fendt apprentices – the TalentWERK - was ceremonially opened. With 36 places per year and new machinery, apprentices gain comprehensive knowledge and capabilities in a modern working environment. A great initiative from the apprentices made sure balloons with greetings printed on them could still be seen nearby hours later.
