Four members of the Fendt Supervisory Board enjoyed the honour of cutting the ribbon to officially open the new Fendt Forum exhibition hall on Monday 24 June. At a length of 61 metres, a width of 39 metres, and an indoor height of nine metres, this extension to the Fendt Forum offers ample space for the complete Fendt Full-Line product range, and will host its inaugural event with the International Fendt Press Conference on 2 July.
Fendt products in the new exhibition hall are also clearly visible from the street through the large window front, and with more than double the exhibition space, Fendt can offer even machines for viewing by customers, dealers, and interested parties. “With the new high-horsepower tractors with row crop equipment for the North American market, and the high-horsepower combine harvesters, Fendt offers machines which have been developed for the global market, and we have to be able to present them to customers in a suitable setting,” says Martin H. Richenhagen, Chairman, President and CEO of the AGCO Corporation. “The level of professionalism among farmers worldwide is constantly rising, which generates a need for high-quality technology. Fendt products address this market segment, even though we are still in an early phase with regard to the North American market,” continues Richenhagen.
Even the largest Fendt machines, such as the Fendt IDEAL high-horsepower combine harvesters with a height of 3.99 metres, fit easily into the new hall, and driving the machine in and out is also no problem thanks to the six metre high door. Barely a year after the first sod was cut, the hall is now almost complete; an impressive achievement when you consider the size of the hall. At 2,379 m² and room for 1,900 people, the hall is ideal for showcasing our entire range of machines to customers as part of an exhibition. It can also be used to conduct training on the machines all year round, and for staging events with high attendances,” says Peter-Josef Paffen, Chairman of the AGCO/Fendt Management Board, explaining the importance of the hall.
The inaugural event held in the hall will be the International Fendt Press Conference on 2 July, when around 150 journalists from 30 countries are expected to attend.
