Our impact on environmental sustainability hits hardest where it matters – our products. This encourages our customers to make a positive contribution to a sustainable future.
By using our Vario transmission, farmers are already saving 336 million litres of diesel fuel every year. This is all down to our eco-friendly technology; from the demand-led fan drive to our low engine speed concept and separate oil supplies for hydraulics and transmission.
We have a vast array of solutions to help to protect our customers' most important resource; soil. Examples include our VarioGrip technology in the tractor sector, which dynamically adjusts the air pressure in tyres; and the Fendt MOMENTUM precision planter featuring Precision Planting technology, bringing higher yields while cutting down on pesticides and fuel.
With innovative digital solutions like FendtONE in the field of smart farming, we are more efficient and make maximum use of resources.
And we are looking to the future. By popular demand, we are developing the already award-winning Fendt e100 Vario. The Fendt e100 Vario is an all-electric and therefore emission-free tractor that optimises not only the energy costs of our customers, but also their maintenance and service bills. They can also re-use ecologically generated electricity (solar, wind, biogas) on their farms.
We have also developed our Fendt Xaver project for future-ready farming. Using small, swarm-based robot units and a cloud-based solution, Fendt Xaver will plan, monitor and accurately document the precise sowing output in maize fields. The robots are particularly light and can process the field while protecting the soil and ensuring maximum safety, applying fertilisers or pesticides in an economical and efficient way – 24/7, day and night.
