Suitable for farms of all sizes – new loading wagon models and updates to the Fendt Tigo series

The versatile loading wagon series Tigo MR Profi, MR and MS for the mid-class power range welcomes the new compact loading wagons Tigo S and ST. Fendt also presents its new top-end model of the MR Profi series – the Tigo 100 MR Profi. Updates to the Tigo XR series include the TIM control feature.

Models

Versatile, compact and slope-tested – the new Fendt Tigo S and ST have a place on every farm. The Fendt Tigo S and ST are available as single or tandem axles and with three different load volumes between 22 m³ and 29 m³ according to DIN standards. The single-axle models are very agile. The tandem-axles are marked by a particularly high impact tolerance. The latest model, Fendt Tigo 100 MR Profi, has an incredible load volume of 50 m³.

Fendt Tigo S and ST attachments

The Tigo S and ST models can be equipped with two different attachments. As standard, the Tigo is equipped with a folding dry forage attachment, particularly suitable for loading hay or even for low transit heights. A hydraulically folding dry forage attachment is also available as an option. The all-steel attachment was specially developed for silage use. The optional hay-loading package is available to make best use of the maximum loading capacity during hay harvesting. With the help of steel struts at the top instead of ropes, the wagon can be loaded more effectively. The feed is fully compacted and the forage quality maintained. Alternatively, the Tigo S and ST can also be fitted with a top cover to protect short cut material.

Stability

Despite the low unladen weight, the Tigo S and ST are particularly stable. This is because of the extremely stable chassis frame. The flexible welded design is fully twist and torsion-resistant in both directions. With a much higher resistance torque, the Tigo is a safe and stable partner even under adverse conditions.

Feed up-take and pick-up

Equipped with uncontrolled pick-up, the Fendt Tigo S and ST are particularly economical to use. With 5 tine rows, a working width of 1.80 m and particularly narrow tines, the raking results and forage delivery to the loader are excellent. Dry and short grass is also picked up without a problem. The free-swinging pick-up adapts to the ground conditions – to ensure smooth operation and a clean work results. During this process, the baffle plate with windguard applies even pressure on to the swath, and at the same time supports the conveyor effect of the pick-up. The interplay of the windguard and baffle plate reduces friction and ensures a continuous crop flow. The Fendt Tigo S and ST pick-ups does not require a cam track, which makes it fully maintenance-friendly and smooth-running. To prevent damage to the machine or potential injury to animals, all tines are secured against loss as standard. The structure, which features hot-dip galvanized components, protects the pick-up against wear caused by corrosive silage effluent, rust and weathering. This leads to a particularly long service life. Steerable gauge wheels are available as an optional extra, which help on corners and protect the sward.

Conveyor swing arm and drive

The heart of the Fendt Tigo S and ST is the cam track-controlled loading unit. The kidney-shaped cam track guarantees optimum control of the individual conveyor rakes. The load peaks are optimally distributed, thanks to separate bearings on each individual rake. As a result, the Tigo S and ST work with extreme precision. The double tines of the 5 comb bars pull straight backwards out of the feed stock to prevent the feed from being crushed. Thanks to this fork effect, the feed is transported loosely and in layers, gently and evenly, into the loading space. The undivided comb bars also ensure an even and calm feed flow. The central cutting process effectively avoids a ripping effect. As a result, the loader in the Tigo S and ST is extremely forage-friendly. The result is perfectly cut and high-quality feed.

The Tigo S and ST are the only loading wagon in its class powered directly by a robust gearbox. This means that the Tigo S and ST are equipped to meet changing requirements while being extremely lightweight. No chain drives means a smooth and pleasant working atmosphere, and feed contamination is prevented with a drip-controlled chain lubrication.

Special equipment

Thanks to its clever details and various options, the compact Tigo S and ST are particularly versatile while providing the highest driving comfort. The optional acoustic level indicator helps the driver keep an eye on loading. The sensor on the back wall sounds an alarm when the trailer has reached its maximum capacity. This saves the driver having to get out and check. With the optional electromagnetic comfort control, all the functions can be carried out from the cab. For the best feed flow even at high driving speeds, the Tigo S and ST can also be equipped with a baffle plate with windguard. Another option is the hydraulic folding drawbar with a ground clearance of up to 70 cm, which allows you to navigate flat silos and work on uneven terrain.

Equipped for altitudes – the new Tigo ST

The Tigo ST series was developed especially for slope-work. These low-gear cargo loading wagons meet the extreme demands of mountainous regions, making the Tigo ST particularly suitable for working on steep slopes and in difficult terrain conditions. With an extra large gauge of 2.12m and the platform height now lowered by 25-40 cm, the Fendt Tigo has a particularly low centre of gravity. This ensures safe, stable and easily handling – even in extreme situations.

Tigo MR 100 Profi

New technology for professional users: The top-end model Tigo 100 MR Profi has been specially developed for the professional loading of hay. With a volume of 49 m³ in accordance with DIN standards and dozens of clever details, the 100 MR Profi is particularly powerful. The stable yet compact design and a new shorter design (now 1 metre shorter) make the 100 MR Profi particularly agile. The 100 MR Profi offers the highest payload and capacity of all the Tigo series models. The multi-purpose front wall gives you up to 6 m³ more loading capacity.

Fendt Tigo XR

Fendt Tigo XR loading wagon steers the tractor

The Fendt Tigo XR combi wagon series has also been updated. The fully automatic throughput control can now be done on the Fendt Tigo XR via TIM (Tractor Implement Management). The combi wagon regulates the driving speed of the tractor, depending on the pick-up load and its speed. As a result, as the filling process is underway, the tractor automatically slows down with a large swath load and speeds up again with a small swath load. The Tigo XR is constantly adapting to the conditions and always working productively. This assistance system is also a great help for the driver, who can fully concentrate on the loading process.

Extended warranty for Tigo XR and PR

With the Fendt Care extended warranty, AGCO/Fendt offers its customers a comprehensive package to mitigate the repair risk of new machines. The statutory warranty only covers the repair risk of a new machine in the first 12 months after delivery. That's where Fendt Care comes in. For the Tigo XR and PR, Fendt offers an extended warranty covering a total of 4,000 hours or 3 years.
