The 1000th Fendt 1000 Vario will roll off the production line before Christmas, generating high demand not only in Europe but also in new markets such as North America and South Africa. After his first season with the 1000 Vario, Dale Kitschens, a Texan farmer with around 2,700 acres of land, is especially impressed with its economical diesel consumption; "At a full torque of just 1,100 rpm, it offers huge advantages in terms of diesel consumption. We can work for four days straight without filling up with diesel, which is an absolute first for us." The DLG Powermix Test has now confirmed this in its independent tests. The result of 235 g/kwh diesel consumption* on the Fendt
1042 Vario is the lowest the test has ever seen. AdBlue consumption is 19 g/kwh.*
