The German Agricultural Company (DLG) carried out a comprehensive overall and use assessment of these Fendt tractors, following recognised and practice-based evaluation criteria. The models Fendt 514 Vario and Fendt 312 Vario were awarded for their outstanding consumption values in the DLG PowerMix test, while the overall test for the Fendt 828 Vario also included criteria on the tractors' product quality and reliability. DLG President, Carl-Albrecht Bartmer, visited the Fendt stand at Agritechnica to officially award the certificates. "We are proud of the reviews and are delighted with the seals of approval. We are constantly working on the further development of our tractors so that our customers and farmers are always ready for the future," says Roland Schmidt, Vice President of Fendt Marketing. At Agritechnica, Fendt's extensive new line-up includes the Fendt 300 Vario series in its ProfiPlus version with VarioGuide track guidance.
As well as awarding certificates for complete machines, DLG also issues test marks for individual technical solutions. With a new camera monitor system from satconsystem, mounted on the front of the tractor or on the front attachment and showing an extended field of vision on one or two monitors inside the cab, dangerous situations can be significantly reduced and road transport requirements met. The camera monitor system significantly enhances the driver's field of vision, especially when working with large front-mounted systems. Fitted on the 828 Vario with mowing attachment, the camera monitor system was certified with the DLG seal of approval at the Agritechnica fair.
