In his speech, Peter-Josef Paffen thanked all those present for their commitment, the "Fendt spirit" and their many years of loyalty. He informed the retirees about developments in the industry and the company, and about the new Fendt full-line program. "After the recession we are now seeing a boom in the market. It's a lot of fun at the moment and at Agritechnica this November – the number one trade fair for agricultural machinery – we hope to inspire visitors on an unprecedented scale with our full-line program", says the Head of Fendt. "But in line with the motto, "Fendt for life", we still need you! Tell your family and friends about the extensive full-line range we now have at Fendt”.
"I really enjoy coming back here every year. You meet old colleagues and reminisce a bit about the past", says a happy Richard Wolk, who worked at Fendt for 38 years. "It's great to see how the company has grown. I still remember the 60s, when farmers had nothing left to invest and 34 German agricultural machine manufacturers had to give up. Fendt has always invested in growth and that extends through the company. Farmers only need and want modern machines if they earn money with them", added Richard Wolk. From the new full-line range, the biggest machine is almost the most interesting for him. In this case it's the Fendt IDEAL.
