Production network with eleven locations worldwide

Fendt machines are manufactured at a total of eleven production sites worldwide. The main site, where the tractors are also produced, is located in Marktoberdorf (Germany). Other German sites are located in Asbach-Bäumenheim, Feucht, Hohenmölsen and Wolfenbüttel. Fendt also has six international locations in Breganze (Italy), Ibirubá, Santa Rosa (Brazil) and the USA: Hesston, Jackson and Beloit.

Diversity, growth and commitment!

The number of employees at Fendt has been growing steadily for several years. Over 7,800 dedicated employees from 67 different nations currently work at the German locations (as of 2023). Fendt's global workforce is made up of more than 8,300 talented employees. This diversity reflects the company's successful international orientation. One remarkable fact is the average length of service of 10.4 years, which emphasises the commitment and loyalty of the workforce to the company.

Fendt in 1st place in the DLG ImageBarometer

Once a year, the DLG (German Agricultural Society) asks German farmers about the brand strength of companies in the agricultural sector. In 2023/2024, Fendt was once again able to significantly extend its lead in first place with 60 points.

The following aspects are taken into account in the survey:

  • Brand knowledge (awareness)
  • Loyalty (current and future use)
  • Brand performance (satisfaction and preference)
  • General brand image

Development of tractor sales with export share in %

In 2023, more than 21,000 tractors were built in Marktoberdorf for the first time. An absolute record year for Fendt. The export share in 2023 will remain at the previous year's level of 70% per cent. This means that Fendt delivers over 15,000 tractors to markets outside Germany.

Sales development by market in %

The sales trend in various markets shows that Germany, France and Italy continue to be among the leading sales markets for Fendt tractors. Germany leads the field with a share of 29.6 %, followed by France with 19.6 % and Italy with 11.2 %.

The Fendt 724 Vario Gen6 is the 2023 nation's favourite

In 2023, a total of 30,345 tractors were registered in Germany. Of these, 6,140 were Fendt tractors. This corresponds to an impressive market share of 20.2 %.

The Fendt 724 Vario is the most popular tractor model in Germany for the ninth time in a row. The Fendt 516 Vario is the second most popular Fendt tractor, followed by the Fendt 314 Vario in third place.

FARM MACHINE 2026 – the Fendt 800 Vario sweeps the board with two prizes

The jury has decided on the winner of the prize in the mid-class tractors category of FARM MACHINE 2026. The Fendt 800 Vario is the best mid-class tractor of the year! However, it not only convinced the expert jury, but is also a favourite with the public. The FARM MACHINE 2026 Audience Choice Award also went to the Fendt 800 Vario. Fendt has the best community – many thanks to you for every single voice!

Award for ForageQualityCam Technology in the Fendt Katana

The expert jury selected the Fendt Katana with the forward-thinking ForageQualityCam technology as Farm Machine 2026 in the category “Smart Farming & Robotics”. The ForageQualityCam enables continuous monitoring of the maize grain treatment (CSPS value) from the driver's cab in real time.
