Fendt 600 Vario hits Royal Highland Show

2024’s Royal Highland Show will be the first chance to see the new Fendt 600 Vario in Scotland. The Fendt stand will include the 620 Profi+, the Gen7 728 Vario, the latest Rogator MY24 self-propelled sprayer and a special gold wrapped 50th anniversary 720 Vario.

“It is great to be exhibiting the latest Fendt machinery and technology at the Royal Highland Show and sharing in the celebration of the Royal Highland & Agricultural Society of Scotland 240 year anniversary,” says Fendt’s Ed Dennett.

The top model Fendt 620 Profi+ offers 209hp from its 4-cylinder, 5-litre AGCO Power CORE50 engine that also features a DynamicPerformance system that can provide an additional 15hp regardless of forward speed.

“This tractor is a superb all-rounder that can be used for towing heavy loads, carrying front tanks, or operating heavy mounted implements. It can reach a top speed of 50 km/h at 1,250 rpm and offers 950 Nm from 1,200 rpm to 1,600 rpm. It is also very manoeuvrable, providing a turning circle of just 10.2 metres,” adds Mr Dennett.

A special Fendt 720 tractor has been gold foil wrapped to mark 50 years of Fendt in the UK. Started in 1974 by Gloucestershire-based importers Bill Bennett Engineering, the business sold 48 tractors in its first year. The 720 Vario Gen 6 being exhibited at the show is a popular model in the Fendt range and has a maximum power output of 201hp.

Fendt’s self-propelled MY24 Rogator sprayer will also be on show. The latest model features tank sizes up to 6,000 litres, all-wheel steering, a height-adjustable chassis and an optional adjustable track axle. Fendt has also improved the Rogator’s nozzles, plumbing and tank cleaning to reduce maintenance and make life easier for operators.

Fendt’s Gen7 728 tractor will be on show alongside the latest 300, 500 and 900 series models. The 303hp 728 was first shown at LAMMA 2023 and won the prestigious 2023 Tractor of the Year award.

“This is one of the strongest and most diverse lineups we have had at any show in the UK. The tractors will also be joined by the latest 160V Rotana combi baler and Lotus 770 tedder,

along with rarer machines including the Cargo T740 with its lifting cab design. We are excited to bring a full complement of products and our team to the Royal Highland Show to help customers better understand our range,” concludes Mr Dennett.
