In the fifth generation, the series of five models covers the power range from 103 to 152 hp (76-112 kW). The Fendt 310 Vario with an output of 103 hp, or 113 hp with Fendt DynamicPerformance (DP), extends the performance range of the series downwards. The innovative Fendt DP added power concept was presented for the first time with the top model of the Fendt 314 Vario series at Agritechnica 2019. Now the demand-based added power concept is being rolled out to all models. For each model, Fendt DP releases up to 10 hp (7 kW) of added power via an intelligent control system when it is required due to the secondary consumers such as PTO, compressed air supply or air-conditioning. The 4-cylinder AGCO Power engine is already approved for HVO100 and other fuels in accordance with DIN 15940. Operating with HVO significantly reduces the CO2 footprint of the machine.

The Fendt 300 Vario series has incredibly varying applications. For example, the 300s work on smaller structured farms in grassland and arable farms, while on larger farms they are used as farm tractors with a focus on front loaders. The machines have also become established in vegetable cultivation and municipal use. The various areas of application result in very diverse requirements for the machines. Depending on the requirements, customers can choose between the three - Power, Profi and Profi+ equipment lines - plus 230 equipment options and 100 choices for tyres and track widths. This allows a simply equipped machine to be configured with a guidance system, telemetry and numerous comfort functions. Its high level of maintenance-friendliness has a positive effect over many years, among other things, due to a small number of easily accessible lubrication points.
In regions with small laid-out areas, the agile and smart Fendt 300 Vario works efficiently in arable farming. The consumption-optimised speed ranges at rated speed of the PTO shaft reduce fuel consumption in the field and thus increase efficiency. For the first time, a 1000E PTO for especially economical operation is available for the Fendt 300 Vario series (can be ordered from Autumn 2026). Equipped with the FendtONE driver's workstation as standard, it has all the smart options of the Fendt large tractors. Usage with Fendt Guide enables precision work down to two centimetres, with an ISOBUS interface, complex implements are controlled clearly and directly via the integrated terminals and controls. The coloured marking of the freely assignable buttons facilitates easy operation. An additional holder on the A-pillar ,including USB-C socket, increases comfort (expected order availability from autumn 2026).

The new rotatable and ventilated seat increases the working comfort for planting work, potato harvesting and other applications that require frequently looking behind you. The new rear camera and the new GroundVision drawbar lighting improve the view directly behind the vehicle, for example when manoeuvring or when mounting implements, which increases safety and simplifies work.
Optionally, for the Fendt 300 Vario, an additional K50 hitches are available for use in front of implements with forced steering, such as a slurry tanker with tandem axle. This allows the transfer of the steering angle and thus safe operation of the team on a side slope.

Another new feature is the integration of Apple CarPlay into the Fendt infotainment via cable or Bluetooth. Already known from the automotive sector, operation is carried out via the terminal on the armrest. The software will be rolled out in June 2026.
Optimal for maintenance use

With factory-installed crop maintenance tyres, the Fendt 300 Vario achieves a ground clearance of 510 mm. This enables row crop maintenance work in later growth stages without damaging the crops. In the future, cab air filtering can be prepared for protection category 4 according to the EU EN15695 standard. This system protects the driver from dust, liquid pesticides and their vapours and meets all legal requirements. In its basic design, it meets all standards of protection category 2.
A permissible overall weight of 9.5 t and thus about 4 t payload extend the application area, for example, with a larger fertiliser spreader. The FendtONE operating concept also allows clear control of ISOBUS-enabled implements and their use with smart functions such as Section Control or Variable Rate Control for spraying, fertilising and other applications. This saves operating costs and protects the environment.

Precision in vegetable cultivation

In vegetable cultivation, tractors often work at low speeds, but high demands on precision, for example when planting beds or tilling soil ridges. For this purpose, the Fendt 300 Vario series can be equipped with all Smart Farming options in FendtONE, such as a guidance system, including automatic headland management, telemetry and ISOBUS functions such as TIM. Thanks to the payload of approx. 4 tons, the machine also works flexibly in the team with heavy implements such as planters.
The super comfort Titanium seat increases the ride comfort even more. The pivoting seat increases ergonomics, for example, when working with a planter or harvesting machines such as a cucumber harvester, where communication with the workers is required. In addition, it has 3-stage seat heating and seat ventilation.
Tractors of the Fendt 300 Vario series have always been popular on grassland farms. They are characterised by a low weight, slightness and high ground clearance at high performance. With Fendt DynamicPerformance, the series offers more power when it is required, for example, mowing with large mower combinations, and thanks to Vario transmissions, it works gently on the soil. The independent control of PTO speed and forward speed plays its advantage here. Thanks to the extension of the hydraulic system, the Fendt 300 Vario now offers a total of five valves, four of them are in the rear and one in the front (4+1), so that mower combinations with additional functions, such as, hydraulic folding of the safety curtain can also be used conveniently. The low centre of gravity and the constant force ensure safety on slopes. Even high swaths are cleanly run over thanks to the large ground clearance, so the formed swath remains. The optional GroundVision drawbar lighting illuminates the area between the tractor and the implement without glare, so that when used with a round baler or forage wagon, the move from the swath into the pick-up is optimally visible.

The front power lift can optionally be equipped with a comfort front lift and is integrated into the vehicle in such a way that the full steering angle is available and the mower is guided close to the machine. This leads to a stable driving behaviour of the machine with high manoeuvrability.
The trailer brake assistant effectively supports a forage wagon while in use on a slope. Thanks to the TMS, the tractor reliably provides the constant driving speed and PTO speed. While the trailer brake assistant keeps the thrust load constant when driving downhill, thus reducing the use of the foot brake. TMS remains active and the pick-up continues to work cleanly. This relieves the driver and increases the quality of work and safety. An additional hydraulic brake can also be ordered starting in autumn 2026. This reduces the wear of the service brake and increases safety in particularly mountainous regions.
In the team of the Fendt 300 Vario Gen5 with our Fendt Former 12545 PRO four-rotor rake with Section Control or our round baler Fendt Rotana 160 V Combi with TIM, drivers are significantly relieved. Both implements are controlled particularly precisely via ISOBUS and specific work steps are automated.
New possibilities for the front loader

The good all-round vision, the sensitive Vario transmission, small turning circle, Fendt Active overlay steering, Stop & Go function and the increased axle load of the front axle from 7.5 t to a speed of 8 km/h, combined with a powerful hydraulic system characterise the Fendt 300 Vario series in front loader use. The vaulted panoramic window in the proven Fendt VisioPlus cab ensures a vertically continuous viewing angle of 77 degrees and thus an optimal view of a raised front loader.

The Fendt 300 Vario has a very powerful hydraulic system with a variable flow pump giving a maximum flow volume of 110 l/min in series and up to seven valves. Of these, two or three valves are specially designed for the front loader. This means that an additional five valves are available at all times at the rear and at the front. The new four or six speed multi-coupler reduces pressure losses and the automatically opening and closing protective flap effectively protects against contamination. The optimised tool lock can securely lock and unlock attached tools in any position.
The requirements for a front loader vary depending on the farm. For standard requirements, Fendt offers the Fendt Cargo 4.75 S front loader, so the “S” a lighter arm. During development, the focus was on the aspects of good visibility and low weight. This arm is also available in the Compact version (Fendt Cargo 4.75 S Compact) to shift the vehicle centre of gravity even closer to the centre of the vehicle and thus increase stability and driving comfort.

For more complex requirements, the Fendt 300 Vario is now offering a 3rd valve for the first time for the Fendt Cargo 4.75 front loader – and Fendt Cargo 4.75 Profi. This valve is operated via the optional 3L-Joystick. This means, for example, that three functions can be operated simultaneously when in use with the silo gripper bucket. Especially for customers who want to use the 3rd valve or Profi functions, Fendt offers an arm with a higher crossbeam, so that all components and lines are safe and protected. The weighing function of the Fendt Cargo Profi now also works dynamically while driving and in any tool position. In addition, the new Profi front loader now offers a maintenance display that takes into account the actual operating time of the front loader. For optimum visibility during loading work in the dark, work lights on the arm are available. They optimally illuminate tools like bucket at any height.
Safe during transport
The Vario transmission allows fast acceleration from 0 to 40 km/h without shifting and with full power transfer with low wear, a comprehensive suspension and safety concept makes the Fendt 300 Vario an efficient, comfortable and safe towing vehicle. The new LED headlights and LED daytime running lights significantly improve visibility in the dark and visibility in road traffic during the day. In the rear, dynamic turn blinkers indicate a change in the direction of travel. The new trailer brake assist provides additional safety in critical situations. If the tractor detects that the trailer is pushing too hard, it automatically activates the trailer’s pneumatic brake. This keeps the towing in a straight line and avoids accidents. From Autumn 2026, an optional hydraulic auxiliary brake for wear-free deceleration can be ordered.

The coordinated suspension concept, consisting of power lift damping, front axle, cab and seat suspension, ensures a pleasant driving experience even in unfavourable road conditions. The parking position of the lower link prevents collisions with trailers at the bottom hitch and protects the material. In addition, there is now also the possibility of forced steering in the bottom hitch. Due to the high removable oil quantity of 43 l, the Fendt 300 Vario can also completely tilt out trailers with large hydraulic cylinders.
From park maintenance to winter service – Applications outside of agriculture
Green, tree and road maintenance in municipalities and at airports, as well as winter service, are often taken on by tractors. The single-stage Vario transmission combined with the high performance at the PTO, interfaces and mounting spaces for numerous implements, high driving comfort and versatile application possibilities are also appreciated outside agriculture. A seat with a 3-point harness is available in the series especially for these applications. An update of the lighting includes LED daytime running lights and LED headlights. This increases view and visibility during mowing or mulching work or in winter service.

If the Fendt 300 Vario is used in winter service, the optional, heated and robust laminated safety glass (LSG) lens makes visibility easier. It accelerates defrosting, prevents ice from forming and fogging during snowfall and is better at reducing noise. Thanks to its special composite process, it is significantly more robust than conventional windows and withstands flying debris better during hedge trimming or mulching work . In the event of damage, the glass remains in one piece with integrated splinter protection and the driver is protected from injuries. Up to seven hydraulic control units also enable combinations with demanding implements. Electrically adjustable and heatable mirrors as well as municipal tyres ex works complete the package.
As well as the conventional locking system with a conventional key, the new series will also be offered to customers with an immobiliser. This system ensures maximum safety against machine theft and unauthorised commissioning.
The series has already been approved for use with alternative fuels such as HVO100, as well as interchangeable refuelling, so that the CO2 footprint can be significantly reduced with this fuel. Optionally, bio-hydraulic oils enable the protection of the environment and use in sensitive areas.
