Dr. Thomas Schneiderheinze appointed new Managing Director of AGCO Hohenmölsen GmbH

As of February 19, 2018, Dr. Thomas Schneiderheinze takes up his new position as Managing Director of AGCO Hohenmölsen GmbH.

Dr. Schneiderheinze is now responsible for the production of the Fendt forage harvester, Katana, the self-propelling plant protection sprayer, Fendt Rogator 600, and the drawn sprayer, Fendt Rogator 300. The site at Hohenmölsen (Saxony-Anhalt, Germany) also makes components for tractor production at Fendt's flagship site of Marktoberdorf.

Dr. Thomas Schneiderheinze appointed new Managing Director of AGCO Hohenmölsen GmbH

As of February 19, 2018, Dr. Thomas Schneiderheinze takes up his new position as Managing Director of AGCO Hohenmölsen GmbH.

Dr. Schneiderheinze is now responsible for the production of the Fendt forage harvester, Katana, the self-propelling plant protection sprayer, Fendt Rogator 600, and the drawn sprayer, Fendt Rogator 300. The site at Hohenmölsen (Saxony-Anhalt, Germany) also makes components for tractor production at Fendt's flagship site of Marktoberdorf.

In his new role, Dr. Thomas Schneiderheinze reports directly to Ekkehart Gläser, Managing Director of Production at AGCO/Fendt, and to Hans-Bernd Veltmaat, Senior Vice President & Supply Chain AGCO.


"Dr. Thomas Schneiderheinze has extensive experience in the field of production, including with large, global companies. He will oversee the introduction of the new assembly line for plant protection solutions, establishing the key prerequisites for our extended full-line program of Fendt products,” says Ekkehart Gläser. A full machine line-up for dealers and customers is just as much part of the Fendt 2020 Strategy as high standards in the quality of every Fendt product group.

Dr. Thomas Schneiderheinze has 10 years of experience in the field of production. He has a Master's degree in automotive engineering and graduated from the Belarusian Technical University in Minsk in International Automobile Logistics.

From 1998 to 2014, Dr. Thomas Schneiderheinze held various executive positions at MAN Group companies, including MAN Truck & Bus Production RUS from 2011 to 2014, overseeing the construction and operation of a new assembly plant. He then worked as Technical Manager at Leipzig/Halle Airport. He speaks fluent English and Russian.

The plant protection sprayer, Fendt Rogator 300, has been produced at the Hohenmölsen site since 2018.
The Fendt forage harvester, Katana, has been built in Hohenmölsen since 2011. Models Fendt Katana 65 and Katana 85 are available.
