For years, Fendt has implemented a winning control concept in the right armrest on all of its key vehicles; made up of the Varioterminal, multifunction joystick, crossgate lever, valve switches and membrane keypad. There are two terminal options for you to control the tractor and implement functions.

The 7" Varioterminal – compact and intuitive
The 7" terminal with LED backlighting brings all the tractor and implement functions together in compact form. ISOBUS-capable implements can also be controlled from here. The flat hierarchy menu is easy to navigate. Use the menu options by tapping the screen or a key. The display has a clear resolution, is scratch-proof and easy to clean. The display dims automatically at night, without any glare.
All-in-one or 4-in-1 VarioTerminal 10.4"
Tractor and implement controls, camera function as well as guidance and documentation are completely integrated. Practical: Variable full-display screen layout, split screen or four separate images. The high-quality scratch-proof display has a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels for an ultra sharp image, even in night mode. With a turn of the hand, you can make your settings by touch control (e.g. at a standstill) or using the keys on the move.
Everything at hand: Multifunction joystick
With the multifunction joystick, you can control the tractor easily and precisely. The 4-way multifunction joystick accelerates, decelerates and reverses without having to change gears. The joystick lies well in the hand and numerous features can be activated directly on the lever: cruise control, speed memory, the hydraulics and additional automated functions, such as the headland management. The valves can be freely assigned with the Varioterminal and triggered with a click on the multifunction joystick.
25-implement memory for perfectly configured equipment
With the 25-implement memory, you can save each implement with its own settings and the headland sequence. This saves you from having to enter repeat settings each time. Even if you have different drivers, they can then work efficiently and optimised without making any settings. The numerous setting parameters include: power lift, PTO, hydraulics, maximum load, cruise control, engine speed, 4WD and differential locks.
ISOBUS implement control on the terminal and joystick: Using the optional ISOBUS interface, all ISOBUScapable implements can be operated with the Varioterminal, so additional implement terminals are not needed. The Vario joystick also gives you up to 10 control buttons. This allows you to easily control the implement with the multifunction joystick.
In night mode, the display is dimmed to keep the lighting at a pleasant level for the operator. Thanks to the alternative display, the settings and icons are easy to see.

Fendt VarioGuide – Always on the right track
With Fendt VarioGuide you can drive steadily and accurately, even in poor visibility. Fendt VarioGuide lets your machine work at full capacity, because you can stay on track without actively steering, even at night or with large working widths. With Fendt VarioGuide, the tractor automatically maintains the ideal line so that you can concentrate fully on the implement. There is less overlapping and, depending on your work, you can see savings of 3% to 10%. Depending on the application, you can work to an accuracy of approx. 20 cm (VarioGuide Standard) or even 2 cm (VarioGuide RTK).
New waylines with Fendt Contour Assistant
Fendt machines with the Varioterminal 10.4 and VarioGuide system (NovAtel® or Trimble®) can use the Fendt Contour Assistant. With the new Contour Segments and Single Track waylines added, your work is now even easier and more efficient. The different segments are recorded by just a single lap around the field using the Contour Segments wayline type. Field boundaries can therefore be quickly and easily established. Use Single Track to record an almost endless track with an open contour. You no longer need to automatically generate parallel tracks. This feature is perfect for maintenance work (fertilising, plant protection). Complete tramlines can be stored as one contour line.
Fendt VarioGuide – Choice of 2 receivers
We offer two different receiver systems – NovAtel® or Trimble®. With the NovAtel® receiver, the correction signals SBAS, TerraStar-L & C and RTK keep you on track. Choose a Trimble® receiver to use SBAS, RangePoint™ RTX™, CenterPoint RTX™ and RTK. If you lose your RTK signal due to the terrain, VarioGuide continues to work reliably up to 20 minutes thanks to the Trimble®-xFill™ or NovAtel® RTK Assist solution.
With Fendt VarioGuide you can keep on track to an accuracy of +/- 20 cm (VarioGuide Standard) or +/- 2 cm (VarioGuide RTK). You can use a receiver and correction service of your choice.
The VarioGuide receiver is exceptionally well protected and fully integrated into the roof. Without overhanging parts or externally guided cables, the technology is particularly well protected against hanging branches but also theft.
SectionControl – Avoid going over the same section twice
With the fully-automatic Fendt SectionControl section engagement for ISOBUS devices, you can plant, apply fertiliser or pesticides without overlapping. This prevents double treatment and distances are automatically maintained. With the aid of the SectionControl assistant, you can set the correction values for your implement, quickly and easily. The switch on and off points can be set precisely from the very beginning, which automatically results in economical application.
Variable application with VariableRateControl (VRC)
With VarioDoc Pro data transfer, you can now apply products at variable rates based on the needs of the soil or plants, to save on resources. Based on VarioDoc Pro for documentation, there is a new solution now out for precision farming, VariableRateControl (VRC). The individual requirements for seeds, fertiliser and pesticides are shown on application maps. They are then called up during operation and automatically executed. The big advantage: You can define and plan resources in the field database then apply them with maximum precision.

Your work at a glance with Fendt VarioDoc
Documentation is the most important basis for farm management for agricultural businesses. With VarioDoc, relevant data can be recorded with a minimum of effort, documented in the field record and then analysed, all in the shortest amount of time. The data is transferred wirelessly from the Varioterminal to the field database using the ISOBUS standard TC-BAS. You can see data on the quantity of seeds and fertiliser applied or the fuel consumption per hectare as soon as the work is done. Additionally, jobs can be created in the PC and sent to the terminal.
Data monitoring in real-time: Fendt VarioDoc Pro
VarioDoc Pro also records GPS position data and data transfer in near realtime. This enables the automatic, seamless exchange with ISOXML-compatible field management software and mapping. The data for the operating inputs that have been used are transferred according to the TC-Geo standard and can be viewed in the Varioterminal while working.
Telemetry: Efficiency from tractor to data management
Those who invest in a tractor, also invest in the future. The operating capacity of your fleet is optimised as soon as the machines are connected effectively to each other. The latest interfaces and software solutions already let us call up machine data wherever we are, so we can adapt and respond immediately. This increases the response and operating times of your entire fleet at the push of a button. The new AGCO Connectivity Module (ACM), the central transmission unit for all data transfer with regard to telemetry solutions, forms the interface between the tractor and office.
The field settings can be transferred to other Fendt tractors through the USB port. The port for charging mobile phones is also very practical.
The new VariableRateControl (VRC) function enables the use of application maps and automated adjustment of the application rate on the implement, e.g. manure spreader, sprayers, seeders. Up to 5 application maps can be worked in parallel.
