The unique VarioDrive powertrain offers significantly more benefits than traditional drive concepts. It has a single stage and for the first time, offers the perfect symbiosis of maximum tractive power and superior ground protection on any surface without tension and reduces driver stress.

The pull-in turn effect reduces the turning radius by up to 10%, enabling easier and more precise manoeuvring. Great in tight spaces.

At the same time, Fendt Torque Distribution ensures permanent traction by intelligently distributing the torque to the axle with the best grip. So the tractive power remains constant, slipping is reduced and power transfer is always optimized. With the Fendt DynamicPerformance (DP) extra power concept, the Fendt 700 Vario Gen7.1 has up to 20 hp more for more productivity and efficiency with lower fuel consumption. Unlike classic boost concepts, Fendt DynamicPerformance provides performance automatically and without limitation, when secondary consumers such as fans, compressed air supply, air-conditioning or the hydraulic pump need additional power. Fendt DP delivers these in a targeted and situational manner, thus ensuring consistent work performance and productivity. Even at low speeds in soil cultivation, in transport or for PTO work when stationary with a slurry mixer, feed mixer or wood chipper.

In the independent DLG PowerMix test, the new Fendt 724 Vario Gen7.1 with Fendt DynamicPerformance (DP) impressively showed what it was made of: With the best results for performance, efficiency and fuel consumption, the new Fendt 724 Vario Gen7.1 sets new standards in the hp class from 240 to 305 hp, both in the field and on the road.

Outstanding efficiency in the field: With a consumption of only 242 g/kWh (+24.2 g/kWh AdBlue), the Fendt 724 Vario Gen7.1 achieves the same top marks as the leading model Fendt 728 Vario Gen7. Compared to its predecessor the 6th generation, this means a savings of 9% or 21 g/kWh - a clear advance in efficiency.

Top marks in transport: The Fendt 724 Vario Gen7.1 impresses in particular during transport work.

  • 324 g/kWh at 50 km/h
  • 326 g/kWh at 60 km/h

With these results, the Fendt 724 Vario Gen7.1 is making history: Never before in the DLG PowerMix test have these values been measures in this hp class, and thus it even surpasses the previous leading model the Fendt 728 Vario Gen7.

Cost savings you can see: Tractors in this class spend about half of their operating time in transport - either during harvest or transporting goods. Thanks to its outstanding overall efficiency, the Fendt 724 Vario Gen7.1 can significantly reduce operating costs.

At a diesel price of 1.60 €/l and 0.65 €/l AdBlue, this amounts to a potential savings of up to €16,000 over 5000 operating hours.

The new 700 Vario Gen7.1 with FSC stability control, Tractor Braking Assist (TBA) and hydraulic additional brake for maximum payload.
If you are on the road with heavy machinery on a daily basis, you know: Safety isn't an extra benefit, but a requirement. The modern assistance systems of the Fendt 700 Vario Gen7.1 ensure that you stay in control even in challenging situations.

As soon as you are moving over 20 km/h, the Fendt Stability Control (FSC) supports control of driving stability. The system automatically reduces tilting and actively suppresses rocking in curves, ensuring a significantly quieter and safer driving performance. Particularly at high transport speeds or on uneven ground, the FSC provides tangible safety and comfort.

But safety doesn’t end with stabilization in curves. The Tractor Braking Assist (TBA) knows when the driver is braking, but that the trailer has not yet reacted. At this moment, the system automatically increases the braking pressure on the tractor to avoid a dangerous shunting of the trailer. This means shorter braking distances, more control - even with a full load.

The hydraulic additional brake comes into play when going downhill. It uses the hydraulic power of the tractor to reduce speed smoothly and in a controlled manner, all without straining the operating brake. This reduces strain on the main brake and ensures consistent safety when driving downhill.

An AGCO Power CORE engine is used for the first time in the Fendt 700 Vario Gen 7.1. This is an all-new family of diesel engines that continues the legacy of AGCO Power's durable and future-proof designs, developed with tomorrow's alternative fuels in mind.
The CORE75 with 7.5 litre displacement and 223 kW (303 hp) features excellent torque, low fuel consumption and high reliability.

The concentric, forced-air fan has an independent, hydrostatic drive. Its extremely small design allows a large steering angle and is thus responsible for the outstanding manoeuvrability of the Fendt 700 Vario Gen 7.1. With up to 40% less drive power compared to a standard fan, it is also enormously efficient, saving fuel.

The jury recognized the completely new development of the Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 for its intuitive operation with FendtONE onboard and offboard, its high performance with low fuel consumption, as well as its versatile applications and numerous technical innovations.

Tractor of the Year 2023

The powerful and maneuverable all-rounder with the completely newly developed Fendt VarioDrive driveline, its integrated VarioGrip tire pressure control system, the FendtONE operating philosophy and an output of up to 300 hp impressed the jury: On Wednesday, November 9, the jury of the awarded the Fendt 728 Vario as "Tractor of the Year 2023" at the EIMA in Bologna, Italy.

The "Tractor of the Year" award has been presented once a year since 1998. Since 2006, the award ceremony has alternated between EIMA and Agritechnica.
