Fendt tractors are known for numerous sustainable technologies and have a long history in non-agricultural use. Equipped with a classic diesel engine, they are proven to achieve particularly low fuel consumption thanks to technologies such as the Fendt iD low-speed concept, the optimised coordination of engine and transmission with the Fendt VarioDrive drive train and new ventilation concepts. This is complemented by high performance, numerous interfaces and mounting spaces for implements and front loaders. Fleet management functions and Smart Farming solutions such as a guidance systems and numerous tyre options for different on-road and off-road applications are also offered with Fendt Tractors.

Fendt e107 Vario

The Fendt e100 Vario was developed for use in the municipal and industrial sectors, in special crops, on livestock farms and on farms with their own energy production.

The drive train of the e-tractor is made up of the battery with an electric motor and the Fendt Vario transmission. Boasting a battery capacity of 100 kWh, the tractor achieves an operating time of around 4 - 6 hours when used in the partial load range, such as for sweeping, mulching or mowing work; with the Fendt e100 V Vario, this is around 4 - 7 hours. Longer operating times are also possible with low loads. Energy-intensive operations, for example with a fully loaded trailer during transport in mountainous areas or when using the snow blower after heavy snowfall, reduce the operating time.

The Fendt e107 V Vario model has an external width from 1.07 metres and a height of approx. 2.5 metres. The combination of compact dimensions, the Fendt Vario transmission, an approval of speeds of up to 40 km/h and emission-free operation makes it possible to drive into halls or depots as well as for internal transport in industrial operations. The e-tractor can also be used in the municipal sector for maintaining cycle paths.

The new standard: professional loader with specially developed tyres

The Fendt e100 Vario can be optionally equipped ex works with the Fendt Cargo 3X65 front loader. The 3L-Joystick makes it easier to operate the front loader thanks to an integrated function for changing the direction of travel.

The Fendt e107 Vario is fitted with 340/70R24 tyres for the front axle and 480/70R30 tyres for the rear axle as standard.

Fendt and Trelleborg have jointly developed the TM1 Eco Power tyre especially for this series. The tyres are characterised by particularly low rolling resistance and 65 percent of the components come from renewable or recycled sources. The special tyres are also available for the narrow track version in the dimensions 380/70R16 for the front axle and 380/70R24 for the rear axle.

Working in the energy cycle

Numerous municipalities and non-agricultural businesses are already equipped with an infrastructure for generating renewable energies. Charged with this green electricity, the Fendt e100 Vario is CO2 neutral - a closed energy cycle from generation to utilisation. This has three positive consequences: The CO2 emissions of the municipality, the airport or the business and the operating costs of the tractor are significantly reduced. It is also possible to drive into closed buildings with both series without endangering people with exhaust fumes. If the Fendt e100 V Vario is charged with electricity from renewable sources (German Green Electricity Mix 2023), the CO2 footprint of the e100 V Vario is already lower than that of a comparable combustion engine after less than 800 hours of use. This is possible despite a higher CO2 footprint from production, disposal and recycling.*

Extended range of applications in noise-sensitive areas

Electrically powered tractors are quieter than machines with a conventional diesel engine. This extends the operating time in noise-sensitive areas such as residential areas or urban parks, for tasks such as winter gritting. Heated windows, heated seats and a heated floor mat increase working comfort during winter service. Approved for a speed of up to 40 km/h, the E-tractor can also be used for short-distance transport.

Consistently efficient energy utilisation

The Fendt e107 Vario was specifically developed with sustainable energy utilisation in mind. Developments such as the start-stop function and an additional foot switch for increased recuperation significantly reduce energy consumption and the number of operating hours of the tractor. In addition, three operating modes - Eco, Dynamic and Dynamic+ - are available for different work applications.

Thanks to integrated thermal management, the battery always operates at the optimum temperature, regardless of the season or weather conditions. If the timer is activated the day before, the machine is at operating temperature in time for the start of work.

Optional Fendt charging infrastructure

Fendt also offers a mobile 22 kW quick-charging cable set including a wall bracket via the AGCO Parts division. The charging cable has adapters for 16 and 32 A so that it can be used for different initial conditions. There is also a wall socket with an option for invoicing in Fendt branding. The integrated software enables charging with 11 or 22 kW. In addition, the company also offers advice on and procurement of rapid charging stations.

While the two all-electric and compact Fendt e100 V Vario and Fendt e100 Vario series were developed for green maintenance work or winter service operations, especially in noise-sensitive areas, the Fendt 600 Vario and Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 series are suitable for power-intensive applications such as path and road construction

Manoeuvrable, compact and powerful: The Fendt 600 Vario & 700 Vario Gen7

Designed for global requirements, the development of the Fendt 600 Vario and the Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 focused on a flexible, manoeuvrable and powerful overall package with low fuel consumption. Both series feature the Fendt DynamicPerfomance (DP) multi-performance concept. The system releases the additional power exactly when it is needed. It is not tied to driving speed or specific operational tasks and functions purely dynamically, even when the PTO is at a standstill.

Fendt 700 Vario Gen7

Intelligently controlled all-wheel drive management is one of the advantages of Fendt VarioDrive. It drives the front and rear axles as required and distributes the power dynamically. The so-called pull-in-turn effect pulls the machine into the curve during turns. The result: a particularly small turning circle with full tractive power and less soil compaction. This allows the tractors to manoeuvre particularly well on narrow construction sites or in the forest. With speeds of up to 50 km/h (Fendt 600 Vario) or 60 km/h (Fendt 700 Vario Gen7) and numerous tyre options, the tractors are perfectly equipped for transport, while the optional front loader enables loading work. The high payload of the tractors also allows them to be used with heavy attachments such as mowers with side booms or large salt spreaders for winter service. For special use in construction or forestry, special tyres with an outer width of 2.50 m are possible. The all-rounders are also at home in winter service or in the preparation of forest roads with a milling machine.

Additional side window wipers

When mowing with a boom mower, working in heavy rain, wind or snowfall, the side windows of machines in municipal use, construction sites, special crops or in forestry can become very dirty. The Fendt 600 and 700 Vario Gen7 series can be equipped ex works with an additional windscreen wiper for the right-hand side. Fendt now offers an additional retrofit solution for side windscreen wipers for existing machines. The retrofit windscreen wipers can be installed on the doors and windscreens of various Fendt tractors using an adhesive connection.
