Electromagnetic brake system for

The Fendt Rotana combi harvesters have an effective electromagnetic brake for optimal pre-stretching of the binding material and compression of the silage bale. Sensors detect the roll diameter and optimise the braking mechanism during the binding procedure. This is the only way to retain the tremendous density created by a Rotana press through the binding.
