Precision work is the perfect solution for reducing operating costs and saving time. Especially on long working days, this requires the highest concentration and attention from the driver. Fendt's guidance system provides support exactly where it's needed: the guidance system keeps the machine perfectly on the desired track, so that the driver can fully focus on the implement. Precise – but how?
Positioning with GPS and receiver
For guidance applications in agriculture, the machine is equipped with a satellite receiver. Once the receiver has a clear view of at least three satellites, the position can be determined. Due to several interrupting factors, such as orbit errors, weather-related influences, as well as absorption and reflection in the atmosphere, GNSS (GPS) position data alone can lead to deviations of up to +/- 12 metres – too inaccurate for agricultural use. For standard applications in agriculture, such as tillage, the DGPS correction method can increase the positional accuracy of a GPS receiver to +/- 15 to 30 centimetres.
Perfection with the help of Real Time Kinematic (RTK)
For demanding, precise agricultural work in the centimetre range, correction data is not transmitted via satellite, but by radio or mobile phone. RTK (Real Time Kinematic) is the most accurate correction signal and meets the highest demands. The accuracy of RTK makes it possible to maintain field data cleanly and to use it again and again for follow-up work or in later years. In addition, RTK is recommended for all measures that require the utmost care, such as activities involving the application of operating resources (e.g., sowing).

Receiver – the choice is yours
Fendt satellite receivers are protected and hidden in the roof of the machine. Nevertheless, you have a choice when configuring your Fendt guidance system: you can equip your system with either a Trimble or NovAtel satellite receiver. Depending on the activity and individual requirements, you can choose from two levels of accuracy – standard or RTK.

With Fendt High Speed Guidance, you can now use guidance system applications at speeds of up to 40 km/h instead of 25 km/h. This allows areas to be processed in less time without losing precision. This saves time and benefits at the same time from higher productivity and machine utilization. Fendt High Speed Guidance is currently available for the Fendt 800 Vario.
Fendt TI Headland – headland management with Fendt
For a clean headland, you need to make several hand movements in the right place at the right time – not that easy while concentrating on the actual work. Wouldn't it be great if you could use the Fendt TI Headland function to conveniently save repeat processes and activate them when you want? Now you can, saving time and allowing you to work stress-free and error-free.
Relief at the push of a button
Every FendtONE tractor comes with Teach-In. The driver can conveniently create the best operating sequence manually at a standstill or record and save it while driving. The defined sequence of work steps is activated at the push of a button. Leaving you to give the actual field work your full and undivided attention.

Obstacles in the field?
Not a problem! - internal field boundaries
The functional extension for internal field boundaries makes it easier to work in fields with obstacles. Whether it’s trees, water holes, flower strips or buildings, obstacles no longer restrict the use of functions. Section Control, Fendt TI Auto, as well as other guidance or machine control systems can be used to their full extent with “interior field boundaries”. This also makes it easier, for example, to avoid protected zones in the field.
Fendt TI Auto
With Fendt TI Auto, you not only benefit from the advantages of an automated sequence of operations, but you also have the additional help of your respective position data. In combination with Fendt Guide, individual sequences, such as lowering the rear hydraulics, are automatically activated via the position determined by the guidance system at the headland line – so you no longer need to press a button. This means you can use your steering system effectively even at the headland, keeping the distance to the field boundary the same at all times.
Fendt TI Turn Assistant
The TI Turn Assistant automatically adds the automatic turning sequence to the Fendt TI Auto headland management system included Fendt TI Headland. This feature allows for fully automatic turning in the field. The driver can choose between four different types of turn: Bed mode, U-Turn, Y-Turn and K-Turn. The two modes Y-Turn and K-Turn allow automated steering movements at the headland. These types of turns are particularly suitable for small headlands and smaller implements attached to the tractor.
Turn Assistant makes your work as easy as possible, with precision and efficiency. You also save a considerable amount of time turning, as well as operating resources, and at the same time you protect the soil through optimised turning processes.

Implement Guidance – Fendt-controlled implements
Precise work often becomes a challenge in rough terrain: attachments drift off the wayline and the driver has to make manual corrections. Implement Guidance enables precise control of implements such as seeders or cultivators. The technology ensures that the implement stays on the specified track, regardless of the tractor position.
Implement Slope Compensation – precise work in hilly terrain
When working on slopes, semi-mounted implements can drift due to their own weight, resulting in passes not matching up. To counteract the drift on a slope, manual intervention in the guidance is the only way to correct the course.
With the slope compensation function, the driver can now specify a slope compensation, which sets a correction value. The tractor corrects its course quite automatically so that the implement works its tracks cleanly. This means that manual countermeasures are not necessary – increasing both working comfort and accuracy!
