M2M & Autonomy with FendtONE

When networking and impact become one.

Machine to machine (M2M) is a central component for the intelligent agriculture of tomorrow - and we’re taking communication between FendtONE machines to the next level with it. At least two independent operating machines can be networked directly with one another through the automated data exchange - completely without manual intervention. This allows several machines to communicate autonomously with one another. This creates fully networked work processes that significantly improve collaboration among machines and increase efficiency – an important step towards autonomous agriculture.

Fendt Workgroup – precise collaboration in the field

Agricultural teamwork is newly defined with the Fendt Workgroup. Up to ten Fendt tractors can be connected to one workgroup and field data can be flexibly exchanged in real time, completely without USB sticks or Farm Management Information Systems (FMIS). The connection is established flexibly over mobile signal or a machine’s own WLAN network - independently, quickly and simply.

This way, you receive a clear overview via the cooperating machines in a field, independent of the size of the fields. Also, the efficient use of the machines and avoidance of doubled working is achieved, even with hindered visibility. The new fleet software also stands for teamwork, a unified data foundation as well as simple arrangements and is ideally used for working with identical, consecutive, or interdependent activities.

Fendt Workgroup – How can I work in a workgroup?

FendtONE machines with the appropriate software activation can join or leave a workgroup at any time. Field data is synchronised live within the group, even across fields. All members of a workgroup have access to information on fields, field boundaries, tram lines, obstacles, and the area being worked on, ensuring that everyone is working from the same data foundation. Fendt Workgroup also supports other guidance and machine control products such as Section Control. This feature enables a particularly flexible and coordinated approach to work, whether in field cultivation, grassland, or harvesting activities.

The retrofittable software is expected to be available from November 2026.
