Employee development and corporate culture

Our employees guarantee Fendt quality. We promote their strong identification with the company and our products and continuously build on this. More than 200 trainees in Marktoberdorf, Asbach-Bäumenheim and Feucht are studying various specialisations, such as industrial mechanics, IT and mechatronics.

The AGCO University offers a wide range of training and development opportunities, while the LEAP programme prepares managers specifically for key challenges. We thereby ensure our future success and strengthen our employees’ identification with the company.

Safe working conditions and health promotion

With the AGSAFE initiative, we are aiming for the lowest accident rate in the agricultural sector. An important component is Safety Talk, in which regular workplace inspections are carried out and work processes are reviewed. By coaching managers, we raise awareness of occupational safety and promote a culture of prevention and responsibility. Our health management ensures that employees remain healthy and productive in the long term. In addition to preventative measures and a contemporary working environment, we offer programmes such as sports activities, health checks and the company fitness programme EGYM Wellpass as well as bicycle leasing with BusinessBike for sustainable health promotion.

Our corporate culture is based on the values of Team Up, Speak Up and Farmer First and emphasises collaboration, open communication and customer focus. Diversity is important to us – people from 65 nations work for Fendt in Germany. This is why we place a special focus on diversity and inclusion both in the training of our more than 400 managers in Germany and in our internal training and mentoring programmes. The advancement of women is a high priority at Fendt. Initiatives such as the AGCO Women’s Network and the Fendt Female Network Engineering support the professional development of women. We are also actively involved in promoting women in technical professions by participating in Girls’ Day and career days for female students in STEM fields.
