Cultivation for the highest demands on the mountain
The Fendt Alpine tedders offer a working width of 4.00 m to 5.70 m and are available both with a rigid three-point headstock (DS) and with a trailing device (DN). The short attachment with a close centre of gravity to the tractor and the lightweight and robust design make the Fendt Twister Alpine tedders the perfect partner for lightweight tractors or dual-axle mowers with large working widths. The rigid attachment of the DS tedder and the patented low draw point of the DN models with steplessly adjustable tension spring ensure optimised ground guidance and precise tracking behaviour without overrunning, thus ensuring greater safety and soil protection in contour and drop lines.

Stable in all situations
The Fendt Twister Alpine tedders offer even weight distribution during the folding process thanks to the standard synchronised lift, which significantly increases safety and stability, especially on headlands in contour lines. Double universal joints protect the drive train from operating errors, while the automatic locking mechanism on the three-point headstock of the DN models prevents swaying in the direction of travel or downhill. An steplessly adjustable tension spring accelerates the locking mechanism, which further simplifies handling and ensures operational safety in all positions.

Spreading pattern at the highest level
Thanks to the isosceles Super C high-performance spring tines, the combing effect ensures that the forage is picked up in different layers. This ensures that the material is evenly distributed, cleanly mixed and thus optimally dried. The short distance between the tines and wheel improves ground tracking and reduces forage contamination. The standard 3-position spreading angle adjustment enables adaptation to changing field and harvesting conditions. With the edge spreading device on DN models, forage losses at the edges of fields can be sustainably reduced.

Alpine harvest technology with the Fendt factor
The Fendt factor is not only evident in the development of innovative technologies or the use of high-quality materials, but can be found in every area of our machines. From the initial idea for solving customer requirements to the meticulous production and passion of our employees to the perfect forage and satisfied customers. The Fendt Factor stands for innovation, technology, Fendt quality and customer satisfaction – ingredients you need to be a truly successful harvester. Even in mountainous regions.
More about the Fendt factor
The Fendt Twister tedders combine durability and efficiency thanks to their large hexagonal shaft and robust double universal joints, which ensure a maintenance-friendly drive of the individual rotors and long-term operational reliability.

The closed, grease-lubricated rotor heads protect the important components from dust and dirt and ensure a long service life with low maintenance requirements. Induction-hardened and ground tooth flanks ensure smooth running and high breakage resistance. The optimum tine speed is achieved at low tractor speeds thanks to the 1:2 transmission ratio in the rotor head, which saves fuel.

An infinitely-adjustable tension spring with three mounting positions gives the headstock optimised guidance and ensures even more precise tracking of the machine in curves and when driving uphill and downhill. It also supports faster locking of the tedder when lifting.
Steplessly adjustable tension spring

With the standard edge spreading device on the DN models, you can achieve a clean finish at the edge of the field without any loss of forage

The Super C tines of the Fendt Twister tedder, which can be optionally equipped with loss protection, are made of sturdy, galvanised flat spring steel and offer a long service life. The tines attached under the tine carrier have greater freedom of movement, thus protecting the sward and reducing the crude ash content in the forage.
