Front attachment with oscillating linkage

Fendt Slicer mowers with oscillating linkage are the all-rounders among front mounted mowers. Through the cooperation of all properties, they play out their advantage in flexibility - both in the conditions of use and in the regions of use. They score with their optimum combination of compactness, easy traction and ground hugging and are all-rounders both solo and with rear mowers.

Noticeably more efficiency

A new generation of oscillating linkage, innovative cutter bar technology and intelligent comfort details – these are the distinguishing features of the current 310 Slicer series. This interaction allows significant time savings in the entire harvesting process with high forage quality and the possibility of fuel-saving mowing. With the increased working width of 3.10 m, the compact mowers achieve more area output than their predecessors with less weight.

Top cutting quality

“The Slicer disc mowers cut the stalks cleanly in all conditions (standing crop), even with very low growth. The oscillation paths of the mowers (front +/- 7.5°, rear +30°/-19°) were also sufficient when driving through hollows and small ditches. Here, the cutter bar with its construction depth of almost 50 cm guided the blades cleanly over the ground.”

Front-mounted with 3D headstock

The Fendt Slicer FQ models with 3D headstock are designed for maximum performance. All innovative and constructive factors combined, these machines achieve unrivalled adaptability to the harvesting conditions. They unfold their full potential particularly in combination with powerful rear mowers.

Ground hugging without compromise

Three-dimensional ground hugging is not just a phrase with this front mounted mower. The kinematics of the trailed mower are superimposed in the transverse and longitudinal directions and thus adapt precisely to the ground contour, even at high working speeds. This allows you to achieve a perfect cutting pattern even in hilly terrain. Your advantage: High-quality forage without contamination and soil damage – even under the most difficult conditions.

Always stays on the ground.

Perform better.

The FQ front mounted mowers with working widths of 3.10 m or 3.60 m, which have been redesigned from the ground up, offer a wide range of professional technical features that support effective harvesting in the toughest conditions. The trailed cutting unit with its forward-mounted traction point not only ensures a large range of movement, but also easy traction and fuel savings. These unique mowers are characterised by absolute power, maximum forage yield and optimum ground hugging. They really come into their own in combination with the Fendt ISOBUS butterflies.

The absolute dream team on the meadows

Slicer FQ and Slicer PRO mower combinations

In combination with the PRO models of the latest generation of butterfly mowers, the Slicer FQ front mounted mowers offer a unique combination of maximum area coverage, maximum comfort and smart farming. Thanks to the innovative ISOBUS solutions, the intelligent rear mowers integrate and control the front unit. This means that the entire combination benefits from the pioneering technologies of large-scale mowers.

Automatic conditioner control

In combination with the Slicer ISOBUS mower combinations, the FQ front mounted mowers are in a completely different class. The DLG-award-winning automatic intensity control of the tine conditioners can be transferred to the Fendt FQ front mounted mower via the ISOBUS control system. The control system is controlled by the intelligent rear mowers and thus ensures that the dry matter in the forage is always homogeneous.

Automatic side movement

The side shift of the front mower on slopes and banks no longer needs to be controlled manually. Dependent of the angle of the mower combination or the tractor's steering angle sensor, the side shift is carried out automatically using ISOBUS to ensure the correct overcut.

Speed-dependent contact pressure control

In the ISOBUS versions of the mower combinations, the TurboLift hydropneumatic cutter bar relief system has an automatic function that is dependent on the working speed. The ground pressure is regulated very precisely and in three intensity levels – also by the FQ front mounted mower with corresponding equipment.

Alpine front mounted mowers

To meet the high demands of farmers in alpine regions, Fendt offers the disc mowers of the Slicer 200 series. These are impressive with their compact attachment and therefore close centre of gravity for optimum track stability on extreme slopes.

With oscillating linkage or rigid compact attachment

To achieve the best results even in difficult terrain, you need adapted technique. The compact front mounted mowers Slicer 260 FP and FPS with oscillating linkage and Slicer 210 FKS and 260 FK with rigid compact linkage have been specially developed for the demanding requirements of alpine farmers. The short-mounted mowers are characterised by their lightweight and compact design. This enables better track stability and less load on the rear axle and thus also more safety on slopes. With the standard change gearbox, they are suitable for tractors with both left-hand and right-hand front PTO. A 540 rpm or 1,000 rpm drive is also possible.

The cutting unit is characterised by a oscillation path of +/- 4.5°, which ensures excellent ground hugging. Its special design enables particularly compact mounting and a close centre of gravity to the tractor, resulting in very high stability. Thanks to the suspension in the centre of gravity and the centring by spring force, the cutting unit is prevented from rocking during transport and a high level of safety is guaranteed when driving on the road. The folding side guard also ensures compact transport dimensions with an outside width of just 2.50 metres.

The rigid compact linkage of the Fendt Slicer 210 FK-S and 260 FK is characterised by a very short direct attachment, which places the centre of gravity very close to the tractor. Optimum ground hugging is achieved thanks to a oscillation path of +/- 9°. A spring-loaded collision guard protects the cutting unit in the event of collisions with objects, while the folding side guard results in compact transport dimensions of just 2.05 m or 2.50 m, ideal for narrow mountain roads and dirt tracks.

Perfect slope mowing

The 210 FKS and 260 FPS slicers are available with mechanical or hydraulic lateral displacement. With a steplessly variable displacement of 42 cm in total (+/- 21 cm to the left and right), you can easily master mowing on slopes and use with twin tyres, while the parallelogram headstock and Kennfixx hydraulic connections ensure maximum efficiency and easy handling.
