Social commitment and economic cooperation

Since the 1980s, Fendt has been closely associated with the Wertachtal workshops, where people work who cannot or cannot yet work on the labour market due to the nature and severity of their disability. The employees work in various areas, such as production and accounting. What originally began as a social co-operation has developed into a successful economic collaboration. Today, the workshops produce more than 500 parts for Fendt, which contributes to continuous sales growth.

Commitment to the community

At the Wolfenbüttel location, Fendt is committed to social integration. Since 2019, Lebenshilfe Braunschweig has been responsible for maintaining the plant’s grounds. Since 2024, Fendt has also supported the Building Bridges initiative in collaboration with the Braunschweig Community Foundation, in which employees support social projects in the region. Every year, employees get involved in various projects, such as the renovation of daycare centres, environmental care and the design of social facilities. Fendt will continue to regularly support new projects in the future and actively fulfil its social responsibility.

Support for local organisations and students

Fendt supports numerous institutions in the Allgäu region, including day-care centres, cultural institutions, children’s hospices and sports clubs. In the area of education, Fendt has been awarding 13 German scholarships for ten years and offers students financial support and access to mentors from the company. Fendt is also an active member of the Kempten University of Applied Sciences’ sponsorship organisation and supports its growth both ideally and materially.
