With the Bundesliga season ending and the Bundesliga betting for this year completed, the results are in. “We are very pleased with the donations that even surpassed those of last year” Elmar Holzmann, Order Processor Marketing at Fendt praises. “The registration fees of the 85 participants as well as the amount contributed by the Fendt management and the member’s additional donations could increase the amount significantly to 2.100 Euro”, explains the organizer of the group. “We are happy to help. It is not always visible but also in our region, there are families and children that really rely on support”
The members of the group decided on the theater school mobilé, the Kinderbrücke Allgäu e. V. and the support center Don Bosco. “For our participants, it is important to support teens and children for whom the pandemic hit particularly hard”, Sepp Nuscheler, former Fendt spokesperson clarifies. “We hope that the youth that last year couldn’t benefit from a large amount of the free time activities, have the opportunity to make it up through the offers from those charities”
The three charities
Theatre school mobilé
The theater school mobilé has been involved in charitable work since more than 39 years. Monika Schubert, the manager of the school, wants to use the donated money to set up holiday activities for primary school pupils under the caption “participate!” During the summer school break in the first week of august, 24 children have the opportunity to attend courses in theatre, dance, and art. “We are aiming to encourage creativity in an integrative environment by offering this course to children that otherwise wouldn’t be able to travel during the holidays due to financial reasons”
Kinderbrücke Allgäu e. V.
Ursula Gollmitzer, the vice chairwoman of the Kinderbrücke Allgäu e. V. is very pleased about the donations. The fundamental idea of the charity is “Don't look away when families and children from the Allgäu region are in need”, which corresponds to the goal of the betting group. The donation will benefit a tutoring project for elementary school children. This is to counteract the deficits caused by pandemic-related school interruptions.
Support center Don Bosco
The support center for special education, Don Bosco in Marktoberdorf, backs projects to guarantee equal opportunity between the youth for a long time. With the donation, a theater show named “On the verge of the rainbow”, performed by the youth theater E UKITEA will be financed. Through its contents, the play teaches about important virtues like optimism and mindfulness. “The children and teenagers have had to go through so many problematic situations”, Heiner Tischer, the principal of the Don-Bosco school reports. “Some gleams of hope and personality building blocks would do a lot of good”
We would like to thank all participants of the betting community and wish them good luck with next year’s betting.
