Fendt Rogator 900 wins Davidson Prize 2022

At the Commodity Classic Show in New Orleans, USA, the American Society of Agricultural Engineering (ASABE) and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) awarded the Fendt Rogator 900 the prestigious Davidson Prize 2022 for agricultural engineering excellence on March 10th.

In their explanatory statement for the award, the ASABE and AEM cited the revolutionary format as well as the year-round and versatile capabilites as decisive points. Since the machine can be converted from crop protection to mineral fertilization within two hours, the utilization of the machine as well as its period of use are extended. The Davidson Prize will be awarded to three selected AE50 Award winners.

"When developing the Fendt Rogator 900, the focus was on customer benefits. The machine must be able to work efficiently as well as be comfortable for the user. The machine was developed for farmers with large farms, such as those in North America or even Eastern Europe," says Walter Wagner, Managing Director Research and Development AGCO/Fendt. "Engineers from Jackson and Marktoberdorf worked together on this project. The design comes from the U.S., and the driver's workstation and controls come from Germany. The cab is manufactured at the Competence Center for Cabs in Asbach-Bäumenheim. This collaboration has resulted in a great Fendt product."

In mid-February, the Fendt Rogator 900, together with the Fendt 300 Vario and the headland management system Fendt TI Headland, had already received the AE50 Award 2022 from ASABE.
