"Motivated and satisfied employees are the key to the company's success. That's why topics such as occupational safety, company health management or even a healthy supply of regional food in the employee restaurant are also very important to us," says Christoph Gröblinghoff, Chairman of the AGCO/Fendt Management Board. "The COVID-19 pandemic in particular demanded a lot from all employees. New rules of conduct and the ongoing difficulties in global supply chains pose high challenges for the company and our workforce. We can only manage this with a great team who identify with the Fendt brand. The survey calls this a good working atmosphere, we call it Fendt spirit."

"Team cohesion and a good working atmosphere", "appreciation/recognition of performance" and "exciting/varied tasks" are the most important points for employees and students when choosing an employer, according to the survey. Classic criteria such as a high salary were of secondary importance in this group.

About the survey

A total of 734 employees and students evaluated the image of agribusiness employers in the telephone or online survey since May 2021. Of these, 535 study participants already work in an agricultural context, and 199 of the respondents are students. In addition, the survey determined the influence of the evaluation categories on the choice of employer, such as "Team cohesion and good working atmosphere", "Job security", "Exciting/varied tasks", "Image/awareness" or also "High salary", among others. The respondents rated the employers and the influence of the categories on a Likert scale of 1 to 5.
