GENERAL INFORMATION

Here are a few suggestions on how to optimally prepare your online event participation and maximize your Fendt experience:

  • Use a current browser that supports HTML 5, such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome
  • Avoid Internet Explorer as it causes problems
  • Ensure a stable internet connection
  • Connect your laptop to your charger cable if necessary
  • Go to the event portal ideally without a VPN connection

ONE HOUR BEFORE THE EVENT

We will open the event portal half an hour before the event starts and are asking you to log in early enough to ensure that the event starts on time for all participants. Organize your work space or from wherever you are attending the event.

AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE EVENT

  • Please use the link from your invitation and log in with your exclusive data access.
  • Close other tabs and windows. You are doing yourself a favor by focusing on one thing at a time. Your memory will thank you for it.
  • Make sure that the sound of your computer is turned on. To maximize the sound quality, wear headphones if possible.
  • Set your laptop to "Please do not disturb" mode so that notifications do not disturb you during the event.
  • Switch to full screen mode (iOs: Command + Control + F / PC: F11)
  • Have a cup of coffee or another drink and make yourself comfortable.
  • 3 - 2 - 1 ... Enjoy the event!

POSSIBLE PROBLEMS AND HOW TO SOLVE THEM

1. NO SOUND

Please check first that the sound settings of your laptop/computer are not muted. If this does not help, check the sound settings of the stream. Wear headphones to improve the audio quality.

2. THE SOUND HAS AN ECHO

The most common reason for an echo in virtual events is that the stream is open in multiple windows or tabs. Make sure that you display the stream in only one window or tab. If this does not help, refresh the page.

3. INTERRUPTIONS IN SOUND OR VIDEO TRANSMISSION

This is usually a problem caused by the speed of the internet connection. It is possible that your connection at home is overloaded by your smart TV application etc. Turn off other devices or applications that may be overloading your internet connection.
