Each year, the organisers of Agra Radgona select the most innovative machine, together with a jury consisting of independent technical experts and industry journalists. Particular emphasis is placed on future potential for sustainable productivity increases in terms of resource conservation. "No other tractor embodies sustainable and environmentally friendly working like the fully battery-electric Fendt e100 Vario tractor," says Rene Pichler, Fendt Area Sales Manager for Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Turkey and Israel. 'We are delighted about this further award for our Fendt e100 Vario, especially as it coincides with its market launch in Slovenia. The machine is ideal for smaller farms and supports Slovenia's efforts to make agriculture more sustainable."

The exhibition at Slovenia's largest trade fair marked the launch of the standard version of the Fendt e100 Vario onto the Slovenian market, where it will now be presented at different occasions.

Our sales partner Inter Agrar exhibited the fully battery-electric tractor on site.

The Fendt e100 Vario, with 50 kW of power according to ECE R85 and up to 66 kW of peak drive power, was developed for use in municipal areas, in special crops such as vegetable cultivation, on livestock farms for dairy cattle or horses, for example, and as a yard tractor on farms with their own energy production. With an external width of 2.16 metres and a height of 2.64 metres with standard tyres, the compact Fendt e107 Vario model has similar dimensions to the Fendt 200 Vario. With a battery capacity of 100 kWh, the tractor achieves an operating time of around 4 to 7 hours when used in the partial load range, such as for mechanical weed control or planting work.

Agra Radgona is Slovenia's leading agricultural trade fair. Taking place from 23 to 28 August this year, it was held at the modern Pomurski Sejem d.d. exhibition centre in Gornja Radgona, on the Slovenian-Austrian border. Since its establishment in 1962, the fair has attracted trade visitors from various sectors of the agricultural industry every year. As well as covering the traditional areas of agricultural technology, the fair also addresses topics such as food safety, digitalisation, artificial intelligence in agriculture, sustainable farming methods, efficient forestry, the future of rural areas, climate change, water resources, rural tourism, gastronomy, wood processing and crafts. This year, over 1,700 exhibitors from 35 countries will exhibit across 71,000 m². The fair is being held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Nataša Pirc Musar, and Serbia is the partner country. The organisers are expecting around 100,000 visitors.
