The traditional Fendt Feldabend in Mosheim – again a magnet for visitors

This is now one of the most important social events in the region – the Fendt Feldabend (field evening) in Mosheim, North Hesse. The Fendt Full Line range and various attachments from the Amazone and Köckerling brands drew a number of farmers and families to the field again this year, providing inspiration to all everyone who was there.

The traditional Fendt Feldabend in Mosheim – again a magnet for visitors

This is now one of the most important social events in the region – the Fendt Feldabend (field evening) in Mosheim, North Hesse. The Fendt Full Line range and various attachments from the Amazone and Köckerling brands drew a number of farmers and families to the field again this year, providing inspiration to all everyone who was there.

Under the motto ‘powerful and elegant’, the 12th Fendt Feldabend evening was hosted on the Hockenheim estate in Malsfeld-Mosheim on 6 September 2018. With far more than 3,500 visitors, the field evening co-hosted by Fendt and Raiffeisen Waren GmbH was a triumph for agricultural solutions.

Fendt presented its range of machines, starting with its Fendt 900 Vario MT tracked tractor to the Fendt 1000 Vario, its Tigo loading wagon and Fendt balers, up to the Fendt Rogator plant protection sprayer. The highlight was the Fendt IDEAL large combine, which was developed from scratch. The many machines and attachments were showcased to visitors in the exhibition arena by the team of specialists from Fendt and Raiffeisen Technik, with new features explained and demonstrated.

Due to the heavy rain, the popular practice demonstrations had to be abandoned this year, but the guests were still able to inspect the countless machines on show and discuss the advantages and options with the Raiffeisen Technik and Fendt experts and exchange practical tips. “We are delighted that despite heavy rainfall – which we farmers are actually very happy to see – we are able to welcome an incredible number of visitors. We value this as a positive nod to our work and our product range. With the Full Line program including the IDEAL, we are further expanding our range of products so we can serve every aspect of agricultural technology,” commented Mario Soose, Managing Director of Raiffeisen Waren GmbH.

The artistic duo Omnivolant gave an elegant display, captivating the crowd with a graceful performance on the Fendt Katana and a loader wagon. The icing on the cake was the pyrotechnics right in front of the Fendt IDEAL. "This evening was perfect," commented Heiko Knesebeck, Regional Sales Manager at Fendt and Thomas Stieglitz, Plant Representative at Fendt.


In the early evening all the children were welcomed, who had followed the call "Bring your ridealong Fendt!”. The first row of the exhibition arena was reserved for the younger guests and each of the 250 children received a Raiffeisen Technik/Fendt safety vest. The Fendt crèche offered a lot of variety and fun for small guests with a large straw mountain, a ridealong tractor see-saw and a carousel.

The visitors celebrated on the field and in the marquee until the early hours.
