Vario transmission

The Vario transmission in the Fendt 500 Vario Gen3 enables continuous, smooth starting and driving from 20 m/h to 50 km/h – particularly fuel-efficiently thanks to reduced speed. The change between forward and reverse is completely wear-free via the swivelling of the hydro pump. The transmission is conveniently controlled via the joystick and driving pedal, supported by cruise control and maximum load control 2.0.

High-performance hydrostats ensure excellent efficiency. The interaction between engine and transmission (TMS) optimises fuel efficiency according to the load. Long maintenance intervals of 2,000 hours, the absence of special oils and separate oil circuits for transmissions and hydraulics increase economic efficiency and protect the system against contamination.
