The Fendt 211 Vario was able to convince the jury with its unique Fendt DynamicPerformance concept, which is available on the most powerful model of the 200 series. This concept enables power increases to 124 hp. Sensors record data from various components, such as cooling or air conditioning of the tractor and automatically provides up to 10 hp additional power when required – completely independent of speed.
At this year's agricultural show "Země živitelka" in the Czech city of České Budějovice, the jury awarded the Golden Ear to the Fendt 211 Vario. The fair, which is usually held annually, gives awards to top agricultural products and innovations in four categories. In the field of agricultural technology, the compact Fendt tractor, among others, was chosen as the award winner.
The Fendt 200 Vario
The introduction of the FendtONE operating concept is a key innovation in the latest generation of the 200 series. Various functions in FendtONE onboard and offboard enable machine and personnel operations to be better planned, organized and documented. For example, job reports in FendtONE are transmitted directly from the machine to the farm manager's computer or tablet, and the application of fertilizer, crop protection and seed is documented in real time. Machine information such as fuel consumption, workload of the machines and the working time is also recorded. This helps to optimize machine utilization and plan jobs efficiently. In the long term, efficient planning reduces the consumption of fuel and operating resources.
The Czech Minister of Agriculture Miroslav Toman, whose ministry organizes the Agrosalon handed over the award to a representative of the Fendt sales partner Agromex. The jury consists of representatives of the Czech Ministry of Agriculture, the agricultural industry, research institutes and the trade fair organizers.
