From 27 to 29 March, our Lithuanian sales partner Ivabaltė exhibited the Fendt e100 V Vario and the Fendt 600 Vario for the first time at the Ką pasėsi in the Baltic States. The booth also featured Fendt green harvesting machines and a range of different tractors.

"Since joining the EU in 2004, agriculture in Lithuania has become highly professionalised. Lithuania is now the largest market for tractors in the Baltic States for Fendt. Traditionally, tractors are mainly sold in the performance range below 80 hp. In recent years, small farms have increasingly merged to form large enterprises. As a result, the demand for professional agricultural machinery has also risen sharply," explains Georg Herbig, Sales Director Fendt Central and Eastern Europe. "The Fendt 600 Vario combines compact dimensions with high performance and low diesel consumption. That suits our customers in Lithuania perfectly. They are very much in demand in the performance segment up to 200 hp. We are on the right track with our sales partner Ivabaltė. The declared goal for 2025 is to further expand the market share for Fendt.

During the Ką pasėsi, the ten most important technical innovations at the trade fair are honoured with a medal each year. The top model of the new Fendt 600 Vario series, the Fendt 620 Vario with 209 hp (154 kW) rated power and the Fendt DynamicPerformance added performance concept with a maximum output of 224 hp (165 kW), impressed the jury and was honoured with the Innovation Award and a gold medal.

At Agritechnica 2023, Fendt presented the completely newly developed Fendt 600 Vario series in the 150 to 200 hp power class for the first time. The compact four-cylinder offers high power and payload combined with a low power-to-weight ratio, exceptional manoeuvrability and smart FendtONE functions. The machine can therefore be used in a variety of ways on different farms in grassland, arable farming, with a front loader on the farm or in the transport and municipal sector.

About the Ką pasėsi trade fair

The Ką pasėsi agricultural fair has been held once a year in Lithuania since 1996. This year's motto was "What to sow?". More than 400 companies, organisations and small businesses have exhibited on the more than ten-hectare exhibition grounds. Agricultural and forestry technology as well as machinery for municipal use was presented in three pavilions. In other areas, innovations in seeds, fertilisers and herbicides as well as new breeds were exhibited.
