Fendt celebrates 9.5 % market share in Spain at dealer meeting

At the 3rd AGCO Iberia Dealer Meeting in February 2025 in Aranjuez, Spain, Fendt celebrated reaching a market share of 9.5 per cent in Spain in 2024.

During the two-day congress, the Group informed its dealers about the excellent results and successes of the previous year. According to ROMA (Registro Oficial de Maquinaria Agrícola), AGCO achieved a market share of 18.3 per cent with all brands in 2024 and the dealer network recorded its best year ever. There was also time for discussions about joint projects and goals for the current year 2025.

Talks with Fendt dealers focussed on the market situation and the good results. In Spain, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food collects the annual registration figures for agricultural machinery. According to the official register (ROMA), 8,763 new tractors were registered in 2024, compared to 7,755 in the previous year, an increase of 12.9 per cent. In the performance class above 80 hp, in which Fendt offers its tractors, 7,009 new tractors were registered, 832 of which were Fendt tractors.

"In 2024, Fendt was able to secure its third place in the Spanish tractor market and achieved a new registration record with 9.5 per cent market share in the overall market and 11.9 per cent in the over 80 hp power class. The market share gains in large square balers, which doubled compared to the previous year, and combine harvesters are also worth highlighting. It is a highly competitive market, but Fendt is successful with the IDEAL combine harvester in a segment that is growing every year," says José Ramón González, Fendt Sales Director for Spain and Portugal, about Fendt's role in the market in 2024.

Fendt also announced future plans, such as the market launch of the Fendt e100 Vario in Spain, the demo tour of the Fendt 600 Vario, IDEAL Harvest Days and participation in Demoagro 2025.

The excellent cooperation with the dealer network was of course also recognised. Sapesa, the exclusive Fendt dealer, was named best AGCO Iberia dealer of the year 2024, but Auto Agrisa (best market share in the AGCO dealer network), Rufino Ojer (best technical service) and Masur (dealer award 2024) were also honoured.

Around 150 people attended the conference, including AGCO employees and dealers of the AGCO brands Fendt, Massey Ferguson, PTx and Valtra.
