"The Walburgisheim is a central institution in the region and makes a valuable contribution in a particularly demanding area of child and youth welfare. The sponsorships and support are aimed directly at children and young people and their special needs. We would like to support this important commitment with a monetary donation as well as Fendt Kettcars for the children and young people, thus also linking up with earlier cooperations with the Walburgisheim," explains Jochen Gnann, Plant Manager Feucht. "Our plant has a long tradition in Feucht and we are connected with the region and its residents. That's why we want to get involved right here on the spot and support local projects."

Florian Zieske (General Manager Walburgisheim Feucht)

"We are delighted that Fendt is following up on previous collaborations and would like to support us at Walburgisheim with various projects," says Florian Heckl, General Manager of the facility. “The donation will be used as seed money for the 2023 annual project "Children have the right to sustainable investment" In addition to projects that are planned and implemented directly with the children and young people, we also invest in a sustainable future. All children and young people have a right to expect us adults to work to preserve this earth. Particularly in child and youth welfare, we have a special mission here toward the children and young people entrusted to us," explains Florian Heckl.

The Walburgisheim is planning major investments in the coming year, such as a photovoltaic system and electric mobility for service vehicles for the residential groups and a corresponding infrastructure. This is to be financed with the help of donations and own funds in order to reduce the increased costs for electricity, to become more independent and thus to create more financial scope for other projects that facilitate the everyday life of the children and young people. "Through this project, we hope to find imitators who, like Fendt, would like to support the project," says Heike Hamer, Deputy General Manager.

About the Walburgisheim youth center

The Walburgisheim offers a crèche, an integrative kindergarten and day care for primary school children. In addition, there are offers for outpatient and inpatient child and youth care including support and counseling for children and adolescents with a high need for support as well as their relatives.
