Fendt Katana 850 awarded at the Italian Agrilevante 2023

The forage harvester Fendt Katana 850 received an innovation award at the most important international trade fair for the Mediterranean region, Agrilevante 2023.

The award for technical innovation is presented by FederaUnacoma at Agrilevante 2023. The international trade fair for agricultural technology, crop cultivation, farming and livestock management took place from 5 to 8 October in Bari, Italy.

FederaUnacoma is the Italian association of agricultural machinery manufacturers.

With the Fendt Katana 850, Fendt is entering the 800hp+ forage harvester market. Innovations such as the revised crop flow, the reversible fan with variable fan blade pitch technology fan and a new 12-row header meet the requirements for high efficiency and output. Ten years after the delivery of the first Fendt Katana forage harvesters, Fendt is expanding its forage harvester model range with a powerful new generation of machines.

About the Agrilevante trade fair

Agrilevante is the most important trade fair for the agricultural sector in the Mediterranean. On a total area of 55,000 m2, various exhibitors present solutions from soil cultivation, sowing, irrigation and application to the areas of harvesting, transport and processing of agricultural products. The areas of raw materials for industry and energy are also included. The focus of the fair is on technologies that are specialised for the cultivation regions in the Mediterranean region. In 2023, 82,000 people visited the exhibition centre in Bari in southern Italy.
