"Thanks to our employees, we were able to double our annual donation to 2,000 EURO this year," said Franziska Brett, Plant Manager of the Fendt round baler site in Wolfenbüttel. "Over the course of the last year, we have discarded a lot of unused operating resources, such as tools, consumables and furniture. Our employees purchased these resources, and the money is now going to the food bank. We are delighted to be able to demonstrate the Fendt spirit here in Wolfenbüttel and support the food bank."
'We are very pleased about this donation. It will enable us to support even more people in the local area,' says Frederike Schwieger, Head of the Wolfenbüttel Food Bank. Run by two permanent employees and 45 volunteers, the food bank provides fresh food to over 2,000 people. The volunteers carry out a variety of tasks, including collecting goods from supermarkets in the Wolfenbüttel district, sorting and packing them, and distributing them to those in need. Peter Renner, one of the volunteers, used to work at the Fendt factory in Wolfenbüttel.
