On Friday, November 5, the "Top Retailer of the Year" award was presented to RWZ Rhein-Main - Agrartechnik-Gruppe Rhein-Nahe by agrarzeitung (az), dfv Mediengruppe, together with New Ideas Think Tank (NITT). RWZ Rhein-Main - Agrartechnik-Gruppe Rhein-Nahe was honored for its outstanding entrepreneurial achievements and merits in the professional distribution of agricultural technology. With 90 out of 100 possible points, Agrartechnik-Gruppe Rhein-Nahe achieved gold status.

RWZ Agrartechnik-Gruppe Rhein-Nahe employs a total of 124 people at its six locations in Grünstadt, Gundersheim, Lorsch, Mutterstadt, Riedstadt and Saulheim, Germany. The customers of RWZ Agrartechnik-Gruppe Rhein-Nahe place high demands on the expertise of the sales partner due to the combination of various special crops and arable farming. Crops such as wine, fruit or vegetables and the associated very heterogeneous land use in permanent crops and on arable land by farmers are widespread in the region.

About the Top Retailer Award

The "Top Retailer of the Year" award was presented for the first time in 2020 by agrarzeitung and NITT. It is presented annually in Germany to a specialist agricultural machinery company that stands out for its outstanding entrepreneurial achievements and merits in the professional sale of agricultural machinery in an independent scientific selection process. This process focuses less on evaluation based on key figures such as sales, earnings or market penetration. Rather, it is based on the use of a scientific diagnostic tool across 16 sales dimensions. This involves an online assessment of 80 sales-relevant questions by the management, sales management, field sales force and internal sales force of the respective agricultural engineering specialist companies. The special feature of the process: The companies are not only assessed, but also receive detailed feedback on their individual strengths and weaknesses.
