Fendt wins German Human Resources Award 2022

On September 12th, 2022, the trade magazine Personalwirtschaft, in cooperation with the "Zukunft Personal Europe" trade fair, presented the German Human Resources Management Award 2022 in the Balloni Halls in Cologne. The corporate health management at Fendt was awarded 1st place in the category "Corporate Health Management and Mental Health". The German insurance company DEVK Versicherungen landed in 2nd place ahead of Diehl Aviation.

What role do values and purpose play in a highly dynamic world of work? How is the labor market developing in the face of a shortage of skilled workers, advancing digitization, and a difficult economic situation caused by factors such as supply chain problems or the war of aggression on Ukraine? And how is it possible to carry out successful HR work in these environments long term despite these challenges? Answers to these questions were discussed at the trade fair surrounding the 30th presentation of the German Human Resources Management Award. The event is the largest European platform for an exchange of views on HR management between a wide range of companies at eye level.

Outstanding and innovative human resources (HR) projects were again closely examined this year. The highlight of the evening: the award ceremony for the Human Resources Management Award 2022.

Jury member Dr. Sabine Voermans, physician, health scientist and head of health management at the German health insurance company Techniker Krankenkasse, gave the laudatory speech for Fendt. Decisive for the first place in the category "Corporate Health Management and Mental Health" were the overarching health mission statement, as well as the strategic project "Wir im Dialog". The project is jointly supported by the company health management team, the works council and the management. "Wir im Dialog" aims to develop a culture of prevention in regular discussions between managers and employees. This promotes permanent exchange and improves the working atmosphere.

"The labor market is changing and challenging HR departments. Our new sustainability strategy focuses on the well-being of employees in one area of action. The topic of holistic health is particularly close to my heart. I am all the more pleased to receive this award for our company health management," says a delighted Ingrid Bußjäger-Martin, Managing Director for Finance and IT Fendt.
